Under the background of globalization,the rising cost of human resource,raw material and logistic,the pressure for the industry in China is growing.Especially for the.electronics manufacturing,quick upgrade and great variety electronics products caused more management issues.New-type supply chain is becoming one of the core corporate competitiveness,while inventory management is the critical component in this chain,the traditional inventory management cannot fit this rapid changing market environment any more.Information sharing’ is the only way to achieve win-win situation for each cooperates in this chain.As a large scale co-packer in electronics industry,F was facing the outstanding inventory management problems since 2008 the crisis.The management control of decreasing stocks,promoting inventory financing(OR cutting cost)have brought to the top of the list,and in-time inventory has become a key target of management optimization.Using the theory of supply chain management and inventory management,this paper analyzes some phenomenon in F,such as low inventory turnover,high obsolete stock,lack of stock control.Based on the root of those problem,some improve measures are proposed:1.To lower supply risk,ABC inventory management would combine with SPM;2.Cooperation between supplier chain sections would be enhanced by optimize the organization,use evaluation system,and coach employees in the concept of supply chain as a whole and increase communication between each section;3.Stock management method would be varied from product to product,time to time;4.To reduce the amount of human error through proper system and regime,by applying advanced technology,transparent and justify of information can be achieved by advanced technology;5.Establish a strategic alliance with clients and suppliers thus realize double-win,achieve the most benefit for each parties.Those measures would help F to solve inventory management issues,relieve pressure from stock and then improve its competitive.
