At present, the global shipping industry downturn, although the shipping demand in a period of time continue to maintain a low growth, but overcapacity situation has not fundamentally changed, losses, bankruptcy, restructuring has become the main theme of the shipping industry in 2016. However, with the continuous delivery of new shipbuilding shipbuilding market, the global fleet is still showing a rising trend, coupled with the gradualloss of advantage in the occupation of seafarers,seafarers of talent loss intensifies, will lead to officers of the supply can not meet the needs of new capacity, so the crew of the market is still in a period of vigorous development. For the shipowner,the crew is the most important part of the staff, crew management is the core of human resource management. With the rapid development of economy Chinese, crew occupation advantages weakened, the crew and the occupation attraction decreased gradually, such a person is mobility, job rich talent market environment, provide more opportunities and motivation for the crew of job hopping, which harm the shipping enterprise is great.The loss of crew is a common problem in the major ship owners, and the sudden change of job or the choice of other professions of the crew, especially the senior officers, has caused the loss of the ship company. Therefore, shipping enterprises should actively respond to this situation, starting from the problem of the loss of the crew to crew, improve the working environment, training and retaining good crew, crew management, the crew team building steady refinement. For the owner of the company,to maintain the situation, after the downturn in the shipping market, whether it can seize the opportunity to develop again, we must attach great importance to the crew management, reduce the loss of outstanding crew. It is very important for the company to improve the competitive advantage and enhance the core competitive ability to build up a contingent of seafarers with sufficient quantity,reasonable structure and excellent quality.The purpose of this paper is to research in the current global shipping market under the new situation, through the analysis of A company's crew management status and crew loss situation, find the existing crew management problems of A company, put forward some suggestions to improve the planning and management of crew, hoping for A company to solve some practical problems, and provide reference for other shipping companies.
