A Study Of Chinese Consumer Goods Quality Problems And Improvement Path

The quality of consumer goods directly threatens the health and safety of consumers,even maybe affects the normal development of economic order.As a major consuming and export country,China's retail sales of consumer goods in the country totaled 30 trillion yuan,accounting for 66.4 percent of the national economy growth.The role of consumption to drive economic growth is more and more prominent,it will be one of the main impetuses of China's “taking structure adjusting,internal demands enlargement”.The presence of the inferior quality of consumer goods in the market,however,led to frequent consumer product safety issues.This caused discredit to the credibility of the industry,reduce the enthusiasm of the manufacturers that produce qualified products,lower the residents of consumer confidence,run down the domestic and foreign consumption market share and profit margins,bring negative influence on the healthy development of China's consumer economy.Therefore,it is necessary for China to conduct a comprehensive analysis of consumer products quality and safety problem,in order to find the path to improve consumer goods quality problems,and ensure the security of residents' consumption,also give the supply-side structural reform a useful reference.To investigate the consumer product safety problem,this paper analyses this problem by game theory theoretical analysis and empirical test.First of all,sets forth current situation of Chinese consumer product,especially discloses the problems existing in the development of consumer product safety.Secondly,respectively discusses the game behavior between producers and consumers,producers,producers and regulators by the way of integrated the theory of the static game theory,evolutionary game theory,dynamic game.Thirdly,analysis the empirical relationship between the five time series variable of the quality of children's products quality inspection qualified rate ? consumer quality identification capability ?Regulator's quality inspection frequency and comprehensive value of quality standards through the cointegration test,VAR model and impulse response analysis.Finally,last part is mainly about the conclusion which based of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis on China's consumer product quality problems,and puts forward some policy suggestions.
