As economy growth in China shifted into lower speed,and the readjustment of economy structure was undergoing,along with the previous stimulating policy still reacting to the economy,making the economy in China moved into the New Normal stage.State-owned commercial banks facing a similar New Normal situation:with the client of bank industry stuck into a lower growth economy,and the interest rate in China gradually getting marketization,more competitor arised from internet industry.Thus,making the traditional banking service carried out slowly,and the margin rely on high interest differential won't be everlasting,not mention that,a lower growth speed of the economy triggered some loan the banks made can't be paid in time,all these factor gaving banks in China a unfavourable situation.With the domestic financial reforms accelerating,State-owned commercial banks has to find a way out,senior management has realized that the previous profit pattern which highly rely on the interest differential can't face the impact brought by competitor from the internet industry,innovation in State-owned commercial banks can't wait.China Construction Bank,as one of the State-owned commercial banks in China,has start forming it's innovation strategy as early as 2012,and presented the official innovation strategy in 2014,guiding the bank develop into a more integrative,multifunctional,more intensive,more innovative and more inteligent bank.But secondary branches of CCB in noncentrical-city face a less abundant resources,compare to the eight centracal-city in China.Practical operating data of the noncentrical-city branch shows the same New Normal situation too.The overall innovation strategy shows the way to improve the situation,but does secondary branches in noncentrical-city figured out the executable scheme?Given a specific financial market condition,how the secondary branches find there own way to make a proper move?That's what this paper tries to find out.Firstly,I collected some researches about the transformation dilemma in commercial banks home and abroad.Then get to the specific product and business,by using my own bank experience and survey results,find out how the New Normal stage affect the State-owned commercial banks specificly.After that,by using SWOT analysis,taking CCB KF branch as example,find out where the Strengths,Weaknesses,Opportunities and Threats lies in.Through the analysis of specific operating data and local financial market development,try to find a breakthrough to the New Normal situation and give some executable suggestions.
