Stuty On The Influence Of Environmental Regulation On The Industrial Performance Of China's Electric Power Industry

With China's macroeconomic development,China's power industry has also been developed rapidly.However,with its rapid development,the environmental problems become more and more serious.Pollution control and environmental protection are extremely urgent.Therefore,local governments have adopted a series of environmental regulatory measures in recent years to achieve the purpose of protecting the natural environment.But what impact will these measures bring to the development of power industry?Will it be the obstruction or the assistor?In view of this,this paper focuses on the impact of China's environmental regulation on the industrial performance of the power industry in order to seek the coordinated development of China's power industry under the background of environmental regulation.This paper studies the impact of China's environmental regulation on the industrial performance of the power industry.Through the data of power industry in different regions of China,the impact model of environmental regulation on the industrial performance of power industry has been established.And analyze the impact of environmental regulation on industry barriers,technological innovation and industrial performance.Thus provide a better basis for coordinating the relationship between environmental regulation and industrial performance in China's power industry.Firstly,the related concepts and theories of environmental regulations are introduced,and the influence mechanism of environmental regulation on industrial performance is analyzed.Then,this paper analyzes the development of China's power industry,the status of environmental regulation and the performance of environmental regulation.Through the comparison of environmental regulation's performance between China and the United States,conclusion can be made that the environmental regulation policy of China's power industry has achieved good regulatory effect in the past few years,but there are still some gaps when compared with the United States.Later,by collecting the panel data of 25 provinces,cities and autonomous regions in China,this paper establishes four fixed-effect regression models of environmental regulation on power industry in technological innovation,entry barriers and industry performance.With EVIEWS and barriers to entry empirical analysis,result shows that:1,environmental regulation on the power industry has a positive impact on technological innovation;2,environmental regulation on the power industry is not significant on entry barriers;3,environmental regulation on the power industry has a positive impact on industry performance.Lastly,through the empirical analysis of the results of China's power industry to extract the impact of environmental regulation on industrial performance issues,according to the empirical results and problems targeted from the government level and the corresponding level of the proposed countermeasures and recommendations,the government is suggested to speed up the reform of market mechanisms,policy implementation of landing and increase environmental regulation,enterprises are recommended to establish a correct awareness of environmental regulation,improve technological innovation ability and build a diversified new energy power structure.
