Empirical Research On The Integration Of Tourism Industry In Jiangsu Based On The Perspective Of Industrial Linkage

Our country is heading for a "travel+"era.Mr.Li,head of the national tourism administration puts forward the concept of "travel+"."Travel+" means giving full play to the tourism industry convergence,pull,catalysis and integration capabilities,providing travel platform for the development of other industries to generate new forms.Jiangsu province is a big economic province.It not only has a good industrial development foundation,but also tourism is developing rapidly.The rapid urbanization and industrialization has caused environmental pollution and imbalance of industrial structure.In the new era of "travel+",researching tourism industry convergence development mode in Jiangsu province is of great significance to change the way of economic development,transform and upgrade industrial structure.Industry association is the basis and premise of industrial convergence,association between industries is a necessary condition for industrial convergence.The paper based on the perspective of industry associations,the input-output tables of Jiangsu province in 2007 and 2012,the input-output model,analyzes tourism realted industries' characteristics,economic benefits,intermediate input,intermediate demand,level of influence,level of induction,and the association state between tourism industry and related industries in Jiangsu province.The paper using input-output analysis method to analyzes overall development of tourism industry,the association state and degree between tourism industry and related industries in Jiangsu province.It can reveal the state and degree of tourism industry convergence.According to the analysis,author puts forward the following conclusions:firstly,tourism is in good operating condition and has certain investment attraction in Jiangsu province.It improves the employment situation and more and more becomes the final consumer industry which dependents on domestic consumption market.Secondly,the tourism industry shows a strong demand function and promoting function to other industries in Jiangsu province.The association state and the convergence degree between tourism industry and other industries are strengthening and improving constantly in Jiangsu province.Thirdly,the tourism industry has greater indirect influence on other industries in Jiangsu province.The tourism industry and other industries lack of initiative convergence power in Jiangsu province.Fourthly,the coefficient of intermediate input of tourism industry in Jiangsu province is larger and with a strong association and convergence to the upstream industries.The development of the tourism industry in Jiangsu province shows a strong demand function to national economy development.Fifthly,the association state and degree between tourism industry and other industries in Jiangsu province is not ideal,and the degree of convergence is low.So,the tourism industry in Jiangsu province need to set up the "big tourism" scientific concept of development and play the role of the "middleman".The tourism industry should not only realize industry convergence with upstream and downstream industry,but also strengthen internal correlation within the tourism industry to improve the degree of convergence.According to the conclusions,author puts forward targeted measures and suggestions for the macro policy environment is to relax industry access controls and strengthen the construction of market system;advice about the path of convergence is tourism fuses other industries orderly in technology,market,resources,and function path;suggestions for the cultivation of talents is to strengthen the school education,on-the-job education and the cultivation of compound talents.
