Study On The Cost And Economic Benefit Of The High Efficiency Of The Vegetable Production In Nanjing

With the development of the urbanization process of Nanjing City,the urban population increase,the cultivated land area in city is decreasing,but the people's demand for vegetable are continue higher,which lead to a unprecedented challenge for vegetable industry in Nanjing.The rational development of the vegetable industry can play the advantageous role on vegetable industry in Nanjing.It is arduous to use the limited planting field to rich the vegetable specieses and anniversary balanced supply,meet the people's growing demand for vegetables and increase farmers' income and promote agricultural efficiency.From which,it can produce high economic and social benefits.This paper mainly studies the facility vegetable production cost and economic benefit in Nanjing city.According to the current situation of facility vegetable in Nanjing,the characteristics,advantages and problems of the development of vegetable industry in Nanjing are summarized.Through the analysis of the relationship between the economic efficiency and production cost of the different facilities vegetables types,the analysis of cost profit and production value profit for cucumber,tomato and pepper,the relationships between input and output for facility vegetable in Nanjing were revealed.From the relationships,the high yield and high efficiency were made judgments and the schemes were proposed for the vegetable planting and the proper suggestions and theoretical principle for the vegetable industry development and distribution.The mainly results were showed as below:1?In the past few decades,it has made a great progress in Nanjing in the development of high efficiency and facility agriculture,which include the rapid development in the area of the facilities,the area of the intelligent greenhouse,the planting scale and so on.Generally speaking,the characteristics of Nanjing's facilities and vegetable industry can be summarized as follows:the scale of production,the regional characteristics,and the quality of the new varieties,new varieties,new technology applications,industry,and tourism and leisure agriculture has a certain development.Of course,in the process of developing facilities and vegetables,it had also led to a number of new problems due to the different regional policies and the focus of the industry.For example,some regions emphasis on scale expansion with ignoring the quality and efficiency;the industry structure is not standardized and reasonable;the cultivation technologies for the special vegetables are not perfect;soil destruction significantly restrict the benefits and sustainable development.Moreover,the continuous development of agricultural facilities in Nanjing City should pay more attention to their own advantages,the choice of new vegetable varieties in order to meet the needs of the consumers.The agricultural scientific research institutes are complementary and benefit to the original innovation and the improvement of the scientific and technological content for products.2.The vegetable cultivation in Nanjing city is mainly in the form of steel shed and Greenhouse.Based on the analysis of cucumber production cost of the randomly selected 30 formers in Jiangning District,Lishui District,Qixia district and Pukou district,it mainly draw the conclusion:(1)the cost of production under protected cultivation was significantly higher than that in open field cultivation,the production cost of digital greenhouse is as high as 48521.85 yuan/667 m2 and the investment is very big;(2)the cropping index and yield increase for cucumber in the greenhouse and the economic benefit had also significantly improved;(3)the initial investment of digital greenhouse is large,but the yield and quality improved significantly,which lead to the increased selling prices and significant economic benefits.3?In order to study the benefits of Nanjing's facilities and vegetables under different cultivation conditions,the effects of the three indexes:the output,the value,the cash income and the net profit of cucumber,tomato and pepper were analyzed.Through the analysis,it can be concluded that:(1)the yield and output value and the net profit of cucumber,tomato and pepper planted in greenhouse in Nanjing city are far higher than the open field vegetables;(2)from the cash benefit analysis,the output of cucumber planting in steel framed greenhouses is nearly 187.5%to the open greenhouse,the cash proceeds is 188%to greenhouse in the open.The output of cucumber planted in digital greenhouse is nearly 674%higher than the normal greenhouse,but cash proceeds 221%higher than that in normal greenhouse and slightly higher than that in steel framed greenhouses.Statistical data show that the cash proceed of cucumber planting in Steel Framed greenhouses in Nanjing is 133%higher than it in the Jiangsu Province.The per acre income of pepper in steel frame greenhouse was 134%higher than that in the open land,and the cash income per acre in the digital greenhouse was 17.4%for the open land.The above data indicate that the steel shed is more suitable for the cultivation of vegetables.4?Economic benefit is the final comprehensive index to assess all economic activities.Based on the analysis of the cost profit margin,it could reveal the relationship between the input and output of the facility vegetable cultivation,and the analysis of the profit rate of the output of the facility could judge the yield and efficiency.With the steel framed greenhouses,the cucumber and tomato output return rate is higher than that in digital greenhouse and open field.The profit rate of output value for cucumber steel framed greenhouses is nearly 24.72%.Analysis of cucumber,tomato and capsicum under different cultivation conditions of the profit rate of output value and cost profit rate,the steel shed planting cucumber,tomato and pepper cost profit rate is the highest,the steel shed cucumber planting cost profit rate is 32.84%,and it is 2.93 times higher than that in open field cultivation of cucumber.The cost profit rate for tomato planting in steel shed is 35.76%,and which is 1.75 times in tomato planting cost margins,the cost profit rate of pepper in steel shed is 13%,and which is 2.6 times in Pepper cost margins.As a result,the net return rate in all the consuming input for the vegetable cultivation in steel framed greenhouse is higher compared with other cultivated styles,which revealed that the cultivation of cucumber and tomato in steel framed greenhouse could achieve the greatest economic benefits.5?In order to ensure the normal development of the vegetable industry in Nanjing,the concrete measures were list as following:strengthening the management and creating favorable conditions for the development of facilities vegetables;increasing supports and implementing policies to encourage the development of facilities vegetables;increasing the intensity of services and guiding the sustainable and health development of facility vegetable;with great efforts to enhance the level of mechanization of vegetable industry;further deepening the agricultural structure adjustment and promoting the vegetable industrialization.
