Ecotourism Destination Residents' Perceptions And Attitudes Towards Tourism

In recent years, with the sustainable development of tourism in China, the industrial scale of tourism has been expanding. Tourism and related industries has promote China's national economic growth step by step .Meanwhile, its impact and competitiveness have been continuously strengthening. People gradually began to travel with more detailed requirements and more purposes, so a variety of new tourism models began to ferment, such as health care tourism, sports tourism, and so on.Among them, ecotourism has developed rapidly in recent years. In 2016 the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Tourism Administration issued the"National Eco-tourism Development Plan (2016-2025)",which provided important guidance for the development of ecotourism to our country. However, the residents'perceptions and attitudes towards tourism have a significant impact on the development of ecotourism destination. As the host, the destination residents are the first recipients of the influence of local tourism. Their perceptions and attitudes towards tourism and the degree of support for local tourism development will also play a role in the management of the sustainable and healthy development of local tourism. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the tourism perception and attitude of residents in ecotourism destination for the future development and management of our ecotourism and for the development of sustainable health tourism.As a representative of the national ecotourism destination, Western Hubei Eco-cultural Tourism Circle has rich ecological resources and cultural resources, with a heavy human history, beautiful mountains and clear waters surrounded,and diversity landscape ecological resources. Although the socio-economic development was relatively backward before, but in recent years, with various tourism-related policies issued,Western Hubei Eco-cultural Tourism Circl has become an example who take the characteristic resources as a comparative advantage to assist the development of urban and rural areas. This paper uses literature analysis, field survey, mathematical statistics,SPSS and other software to analysis the residents' perceptions and attitudes towards tourism in Western Hubei Eco-cultural Tourism Circle from three aspects: the overall characteristic;group differences;Cities and states differences.So as to truly understand the idea of the destination residents, sort out the advantages and disadvantages of tourism development around the circle, contact theoretical research, obtain objective and effective conclusions. The last part of this paper puts forward some suggestions from three angles: the government and the market, the residents and the tourists , so as to provide a reference for the long-term sustainable and healthy development of ecotourism in Western Hubei Eco-cultural Tourism Circl.
