A Study On The Cognition And Attitude Of Residents In Rural Tourism Areas To The Development Of Ecotourism

Tourism in the 21st century has gradually turned into stage of mass development. For instance, the experiencing type and leisure type tourism have been favorable among the modern tourism market. The impact from holiday economy-the golden week, the increasing pressure of urban living environment, the widespread idea of sustainable development, in addition with the rural ecological leisure tourism surrounding the re-urban areas, all have been the currently modern lifestyle. Everything has its life circle thus tourism industry is corresponded with such kind of law. As the backbone of rural ecotourism industry, the cottars have played vital role in the starting, development and innovation of tourism industry. Their cognition and attitude towards the rural ecological tourism development have determined the direction of regional economy.The Shiye continent has been constructed into the national tourist resort since 2002, characterized by’ecology, leisure, vacation and sports’. Although the ecological development of rural tourism has achieved a lot, there is still deficiency and in need of further research and discussion during the process of tourism development. Attitudes and thoughts of residents are not fully considered and esteemed, neither further regulation on residents’participation in the ecological development.Through six principle parts, from the basic theory to real diagnosis analysis, this research systematically claimed the understanding and acceptance of local people on rural ecological development. Firstly, under the background of both international and domestic tourism industry, it presents four urging intentions. Additionally, from the entire text, this thesis makes framing introduction on the range, content, methods, difficulties and emphasis of this research. Secondly, carding the basic study theories and then making systematical study on the international and national tourism development, finally it researches on the theories of cognition and attitude, which has laid foundation for further discussion of the following passage. Thirdly, based on the study on Chinese rural tourism development, this thesis makes elaborative research on the general progress of rural tourism in Shiye continent. Fourthly, it settles specific design of methods and steps for real diagnosis, meanwhile, debugs and confirm the questionnaire, as well as brief introduction on statistic analysis adopted in the statistic study. Fifthly, keeping foothold on the statistics obtained by questionnaire, the author utilizes scientific approach to analyze relationship between the personal features of local people, their cognition of rural ecological tourism and acceptance. The last part summarizes and proves the three predictions in the beginning part, then on the basis of some related conclusions, this thesis also put forward strategies for rural ecological tourism development in Shiye continent.Rural residents is the master of rural tourism, is also the subject of tourism development, is closely related with the development of the destination,the development of good, they are the biggest beneficiaries, development badly.they are the biggest victims. As permanent residents, their development idea is different from the foreign developers, good living and development environment is the primary consideration, in the actual development, community residents will become a natural ecological environment protection supervisor and persuasion, in accordance with the requirements of the construction of the beautiful countryside. Rural residents’ participation in tourism development for the further processing of the "three rural issues" to provide a train of thought, promote the rural residents of entrepreneurship, so that more farmers in the village, back to the country, to ease the pressure on the city. To promote the development of rural eco-tourism is in line with the needs of modern tourism market and the government response to the harmonious development of man and nature’s call, but also take into account the protection of the development to the agricultural economy and natural ecology. Zhenjiang Shiye continent ecological tourism development at the initial stage, more attention should be paid to the development and cultivation of the awareness of residents at the present stage of education.
