A Study On The Location Choice Of Foreign-Funded Enterprises In Shandong Province

Since the reform and opening up,China has become increasingly close contact with the world,more and more foreign-funded enterprises choose to invest or set up factories in China,huge foreign capital inflow not only brought capital,advanced technology and management experience,but also led the whole of China economic development.Although the scale of foreign capital inflows increased year by year,but the actual use of foreign investment in the region there is a big gap between the level.From the national point of view,the eastern coastal areas to attract foreign investment was significantly higher than the central and western regions,which to some extent caused by regional economic development level of imbalance.We can not help but ask,foreign investment is the existence of space gathering phenomenon?What factors affect the location of foreign investment options?Shandong Province as the third largest national economy provinces,attract foreign investment level also ranks the forefront of the country,and the eastern and western regions of Shandong Province in attracting foreign investment there is a significant imbalance phenomenon,select Shandong Province as a sample with a good representative.In view of this,this paper will take Shandong Province as the object of study,study the spatial distribution characteristics of foreign direct investment in Shandong Province,and use the county level data to study the location selection behavior of foreign-funded enterprises in Shandong Province.Specifically,this paper uses the spatial data exploration and analysis method(ESDA)to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of the actual use of foreign capital in different cities in Shandong Province from 1998 to 2015,and verify whether there is spatial agglomeration effect.It is found that the cities in Shandong Province have obvious spatial spatial autocorrelation when they use foreign capital,that is,the areas with more foreign capital are concentrated and the areas with smaller foreign capital are concentrated.On the other hand,the local cities in the use of foreign capital when there are obvious local autocorrelation,that is,the eastern coastal cities are mostly high-type agglomeration,the western inland cities are mostly low-type gathering,and long-term view of the above-mentioned clustering characteristics Out of steady state.(?)Secondly,from the perspective of the location selection of newly-built foreign-funded enterprises,the data of new foreign-funded manufacturing enterprises invested in 139 cities and counties in Shandong Province from 1998 to 2007 were used to identify the influencing factors of foreign enterprises in the selection of new enterprises in Shandong Province,And reveals that these factors affect the foreign companies in Shandong Province to select the location mechanism of micro-mechanism.In addition,it also analyzes the influencing factors of different types of foreign-funded enterprises in Shandong Province.It is found that Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan enterprises are different from other enterprises in the selection of location factors.In the case of foreign-owned and foreign joint venture,The mechanism of action of these factors is consistent with the overall sample.Finally,based on the conclusion of the above research,combined with the regional development strategy of Shandong Province,it puts forward corresponding policy suggestions to promote the distribution of foreign investors in Shandong Province and narrow the regional economic development gap and attract foreign investment in Shandong Province.
