The Research On The Location Selection Of Chinese Enterprises In Foreign Direct Investment

As the advanced stage of international division of labor, foreign direct investmentin promoting the development of economic globalization has a pivotal role, is alsoone of the symbols of the comprehensive competitiveness of a country. With thedeepening of the economic globalization and regional group, foreign directinvestment has gradually got more and more attention from the enterprise and thegovernment. The state explicitly pointed out that necessary to speed up theimplementation of the “going out” strategy, and improve the management level ofenterprise internationalization.Location selection is the key to foreign direct investment. The basic aim toenterprise “going out” is to make full use of “two resources and two markets”.Different selection of location will lead to different degree of difference on theinvestment environment and the corresponding condition, the different degree ofadvantages playing of the enterprise, and is related to the interests of the final howmuch success or failure. As a result, the selection of the suitable investment locationis very important to the enterprises of that “going out” in our country.This paper mainly made the comprehensive advantages as the theoretical basis, andregulating the use and positive study combined with qualitative analysis andquantitative analysis, the method of combining the selection and our country havedirect investment relations sample countries (regions) of panel data related tomeasurement model analysis. In the model, the article chose the host economies ofscale, the host country and China’s economic similarity, our country for the hostcountry lags behind a period of the stock of foreign direct investment in China andthe volume of trade with host countries and such variables, and the use of individualfixed effects to analyze Chinese foreign direct investment flow and the relationshipbetween the various economic variables. And then, the article reveals the law oflocation selection in Chinese foreign direct investment. Finally, the innovativesuggestions are put forward based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis. The location selection of the foreign direct investment is not only the microscopicbehavior of the enterprise, but also the layout of the macro-control behavior of thestate’s overall strategy. The study of foreign direct investment location selection alsois very important about practical significance to our country enterprises “go out”.
