The Chinese traditional culture emphasizes the hierarchical characteristics and absolute authority of the leader. In the higher power distance, employees pay attention to the view of leader how to regard them, but they are afraid of showing their real thoughts to the leader,so as to employees can not accurately perceive the real opinions of the leader. As time passes, there are differences between "how employees regard themselves " and " perceived how leaders regard them".Particularly, when the perceived leader's view about them is not optimistic, this asymmetry continues to consume the psychological resources of employees, then affecting the employees' work attitude and behaviors.Especially in competitive environment, employees should have the ability to take the initiative to overcome setbacks and spare no effort to work.Asymmetry caused by higher self-perception and lower perceived view of leader will affect employees' initiative, and this lay a hidden danger for the long-term development of the organization. However,on the one hand, the previous studies lack of exploration on the relationship between self identity and perceived asymmetry of others. On the other hand, there is little research revealed how the asymmetry between employee self-identity and perceived leaders identity influence the behavior of employees. For this reason, this paper examines the influence mechanism of ?Leader Underestimation? Internal Identity Asymmetry on the employee's initiative behavior. This study emphasis on the concept and dimensions of Self Identity, forming the scale of Self Identity and Perceived Leader Identity, and testing its Consistency and stability.Based on the survey data of 759 employees, according to the practice of matching related research the two predictive variables of Leader Identity and Self Identity are transformed into standard scores, with a variable higher than another variable half a standard deviation as the division basis, and screened from 209 copies of "Leadership Underestimate" Internal Identity Asymmetric data.Overall, through Regression analysis by the Mplus 6.0 software demonstrated the higher ?Leader Underestimation? Internal Identity Asymmetry predicted lower Proactive Behaviors, and this relationship was fully mediated by employee Psychological Capital.Furthermore, analysis showed that the relationship between ?Leader Underestimation? Internal Identity Asymmetry and Proactive Behaviors is moderated by Procedural Justice. And Procedural Justice strengthens the relationship,in other words, when the Procedural Justice is higher, the negative influence of the ?Leader Underestimation? Internal Identity Asymmetry on Proactive Behaviors through Psychological Capital is weakened. On the contrary, the negative effect is enhanced.
