Formulation And Implementation Of Financial Strategy Of WP Company In MG Environment

Management Game("MG" for short)project is an global participation business education course opened in the late 1970s and 80s by Carnegie Mellon University.The course created a simulated business environment of competition by computer and network technology,allowing students as operators in this virtual environment operating their own companies.The colleges and universities in Europe,America and Japan in succession to make MG into their teaching system,because the course can cultivate students' comprehensive ability and independent thinking ability;it is also widely welcomed by big companies to help staff to establish integral consciousness and to strengthen team spirit.In 2001,Northeastern University began to join Carnegie Mellon university MG course of virtual operation,provides a platform to simulate the actual operation for MBA students.In the simulation environment,WP Company by 5 students is competed with four other companies.Companies are all produced two kinds of products,in six international markets into marketing activities.Through the company's overall strategy,production strategy,marketing strategy and financial strategy formulating and implementing,it carried out the overall operations of the company.I was in WP Company as a chief financial officer(CFO).I am responsible for the company's formulation and implementation of financial strategy.This topic research is based on MG environment WP Company for 2016-2018 years of financial strategy summary,based on the analysis of the formation.In the dissertation,there are six chapters.Chapter 1 introduces the research background,purpose,research content,research mentality and the paper structure.Chapter 2 elaborates management theory of the financial strategy.Chapter 3 analyzes WP Company's financial strategy environment.Chapter 4 chooses financial strategy of WP.On the basis of financial strategy,Chapter 5 analyses WP Company's financial strategy implementation of 2016-2018.Chapter 6 is the summary,and prospects the future research direction.
