Research On Xinjiang Industrial Development And Structural Optimization

Xinjiang has made outstanding achievements in all aspects of economic and social construction since the Reform and Opening-up,but there are still a lot of problems.All the work in Xinjiang should focus on the general target of social stability and long-term governance set by the central government to be planed and operated.“Development is the absolute truth” is the basis to achieve the general target in Xinjiang.The economic growth of Xinjiang had significant fluctuations in recent years,the governments are trying to find new energy for the further development of the economy through the adjustment,optimization and upgrading of the industrial structure.The development of the industry and the upgrading of the structure has always been the focus of attention of economists.And the introduction of the New Institutional Economics provides a new perspective for people to think about the issue.This paper makes an empirical analysis on the current situation of Xinjiang industrial structure in the use of the related indicators and model.Furthermore,from the perspective of New Institutional Economics,this paper uses the core concepts and theories of the New Institutional Economics to analyze the problems of Xinjiang's industrial development and structural adjustment.Through the above analysis,the conclusion are as follows: Firstly,Xinjiang's industrial structure is irrational and there is a serious problem of path dependence in economic development;Secondly,The Xinjiang system is insufficient and inefficient,which has played a negative role in the development of the industry and the optimization and upgrading of the structure.On the basis of the analysis,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions.Xinjiang needs to take the initiative to create more bonus system according to local conditions,through a variety of measures to build the institution highland,let the institution become new comparative advantage.Through these measures to achieve the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure and sustainable economic and social development.
