Research On The Classification Of Urban Morphology Management Units In Conghua Wenquan Town,Guangzhou

Conghua Wenquan town is famous for its rare hot spring resource,relying on this unique natural advantage,Wenquan town has experienced several times of development and construction,and in the process of long-term urban evolution it has formed a rich historical morphology accumulation.Meanwhile,multi-agent settled in multiple periods made the town property rights complex which becomes the key reason that many Wenquan town planning difficult to promote.It is in this context that “management unit” came into being.“Management unit” is under the guidance of organic renewal theory,combining with the urban morphology research method of Conzenian School,facing to urban renewal of urban morphology and property dual complex situation and puts forward the updating method of break up the whole into parts,divide and rule.Based on the special historical and cultural attributes of the old city,it is necessary to make rational understanding of each unit and treat them differently,therefore,it is urgent to evaluate and classify the management units.As the typical representative of the old city and the first practice of the "management unit",Wenquan town has a typical sample meaning in the supplementary research and empirical exploration.This paper is divided into five chapters.The preface mainly reviews the urban morphology theory and research method of Conzenian School and the evaluation methods of the old city renewal,so as to provide theoretical and methodological support for this research.The second chapter focuses on the connotation of the management unit and divides the management units in Wenquan town,as the basis of the next stage of evaluation.In the third chapter,on the whole level to design the evaluation model of the Wenquan town management units,and constructs the indicator system,weight system and scoring method.The Forth chapter according to the evaluation model makes the evaluation of each management unit,and according to the overall evaluation and the existing classification of the old city renewal decision,the management units are divided into the unit of conservation,keeping,amending,regulation and reconstruction which based on the classification of evaluation scores can get the final classification results of Wenquan town management units,then reveal the reasons behind it and put forward suggestions for future implementation.The fifth chapter based on the classification results of the Wenquan town management units,discusses the establishment of management unit guidelines.This paper is an empirical study on the evaluation and classification of the “management unit”.In addition,through the study of this paper,it provides a more systematic and scientific evaluation model for understanding of the present value of Wenquan town,and provides reference for the coming protection and development.
