Bank of Z, established on the Huangpu River in 1912, set up China's financial industry's first overseas branch in London in 1929. For having global branches overseas, bank of Z is one of the world's most influential financial group, international settlement business has been the bank's brand business. But with the accelerated opening of the financial market, foreign banks influx, together with its low risk, less investment, high return characteristics as the typically intermediate business, it has become the focus of commercial banks competition. On the one hand, with the other banks are becoming more and more mature, the competitors in the market are more and more. On the other hand, after the economic crisis, the whole world economy in contraction, world trade actually in corresponding shrinkage, resulting in reduced the total demand for international business in constant. Therefore, bank of Z wants to maintain the position of leader in such a tough market environment is difficult. Face to the international trade slumping, settlement demand decreasing, and strong competition in the market, also other internal and external situation, based on the business skills consolidated,the innovation of service management should match the development and management requirement, it's the new challenge to face for the bank management.This thesis mainly adopts examples and comparison research method, starting from the status of the existing international settlement service management in bank of Z, finding out the problems, combined with the theory of service management and through comparison and analysis of domestic and foreign counterparts, clear the gap, determine the innovation way or path, the establishment of the ideal of the international settlement service management and how to promote the innovation of the bank of Z service management. The main content of this thesis is the research of international settlement service management in bank of Z, put forward some more valuable programs and strategies, strong operability and practicability is strong. For other need to engage in international settlement business banks has a strong reference. Therefore, it is hoped that this thesis will give some inspiration and help to the staff who are engaged in the international settlement business.
