A Study On The Development Strategy Of International Settlement Business Of Commercial Banks

With the expansion of the global economic integration strategy and encouragement for enterprises to "go out",International settlement business of enterprises is greatly improved.As a typical intermediate business of the bank.because of its own of the low risk,high income and the pull to the rapid development of other foreign exchange products characteristics,it is the competition of banks focus.However,Chinese commercial banks in the international settlement business in the customer,product,marketing,technology,internal control development methods still exist many shortcomings,development strategies,which are often limited to solve the urgent needs.Without considering the long-term business development,or the whole set of mutual convergences to support the system development strategy.This paper mainly analyses the internal and external motivations of international settlement business of Bank of Nanjing,making its present development situation be the starting point to conduct an in-depth SWOT analysis and evaluation for it.The paper puts forward the development strategies to promote the development of international settlement business of Nanjing Bank,and tries to improve the value creation ability,market performance ability,risk management and economic capital of it in order to enhance the contribution of international settlement business and then enhance market share.
