A Study On The Development Countermeasure Of International Settlement Business Of Bank A Free Trade Zone Sub-branch

International settlement business is an important part of the business system of commercial banks.The development of international settlement business can not only improve the intermediate income level of commercial banks,but also promote the development of other business indicators.It is precisely aware of this feature and advantage of international settlement business that commercial banks actively set up international settlement business.At the same time,in order to promote the development of import and export trade,a large number of special regulatory areas,such as bonded areas and free trade zones,have emerged in large numbers.The relevant departments of the state have issued a series of facilitation policies,which have brought in a large number of import and export trade enterprises,thus creating a large number of jobs and market opportunities.In order to seek the growth and breakthrough of international settlement business,commercial banks have also set up new branches around the bonded area to increase the authority of international settlement business and provide international settlement services for such enterprises.This paper takes the international settlement business of the Free Trade Zone Branch of bank A as the research object.By sorting out and analyzing the main international settlement indicators of the branch in the bonded area of bank A,the SWOT matrix analysis theory and the theory of comparative advantage are used to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the branch in the bonded area,combined with the geographical location,the situation of competitors in the same industry and the business development prospect as for the overall understanding of the internal and external environment faced by the sub branches in the bonded area,it is necessary to formulate reasonable and feasible development countermeasures for the development of the international settlement business of the sub branches in the bonded area.Bank A is exploring a new model for the development of international settlement business.This study can provide exploration and reference for the sinking strategy of Bank A’s international settlement business outlets,and promote it to other branches in the system.
