| In recent years,with most of the country’s economy step into new normality,looking for new ways to promote economic growth has become urgent.Domestic scholars have increasingly concerned about the development of regional brands which is a unique advantage of the development of regional economy,in order to increase the core competitiveness of the region.Many local governments began to implement regional brand strategy as well.Regional brand is a kind of brand.It is a phenomenon of industrial clusters,which has more regional characteristics.Regional brands can not only improve the overall competitiveness of the region,put forward new requirements of the regional economic development,but also nurture the region’s corporate brand’s and product brand’s development,promote industrial upgrading and build international visibility.Small and medium enterprises within the region relying on a strong regional brand’s influence and the regional brand gorgeous halo can greatly increase the sales of products,reduce the cost of sales and improve business performance.The growth of small and medium enterprises enhances the overall influence of regional economy and strength,which can further expand the regional brand’s reputation and visibility.Therefore,the implementation of brand strategy and the creation of regional brands will help coordinate the regional contradictions,improve the regional overall production level and quality standards,enhance regional brand cohesion and improve the regional brand’s overall competitiveness.China’s regional brand research is still in its infancy.The initial research began in 2002.It focused on the concept of regional brands,the connotation of brand building and so on.In the context of economic globalization,China is facing more and more intense market competition.Enterprise competitiveness is far from sufficient if it relies only on its own factors.It also relies on the environment.Therefore,from this point of view,regional advantages is very important for enterprises.That is why more and more scholars go to study regional brands.But how to measure the importance of regional brands to regional economic development? Starting from this problem,this paper summarizes the concept of regional brand,combs the research status of regional brand at home and from abroad,and finally analyzes the influence of regional brand on economy. |
