In Automotive industry,Parts provision as the core part of Automotive aftermarket,has been the main profit generators for the companies,and has gained increasing attention recently.Therefore,companies are always seeking for new methods and solutions enabling them to provide the best possible service to the customers through the most efficient ways.In this trend,companies operating in the truck industry are no exceptions.Looking through the long history of parts distribution in automotive industry and its proven success in different contexts remains no surprise to see companies using distribution network optimizing.With regards to supply chain network optimizing,A traditional way to solve the problem is to build warehouse network by Vleon itself,insert a layer between the central warehouse in shanghai and dealer network;While there is a new kind of thinking,along with the advancement of big data and computer capacity,Vleon developed a cloud based spare parts handling system,with this,Vleon could have the warehouse built by dealers by expanding their own spare parts warehouse,then this sub-warehouse network could transfer and adjust the stock among dealers as a dynamic platform.This thesis is a research on the feasibility for each of 2 methods.And it could provide a reference and a practice for companies that is managing a supply chain network.
