As a major part of the food,animal products have a large percent on the dietary structure.A considerable proportion of meat,eggs,milk and other animal products is a key factor to reflect the comprehensive national strength.The scale of development of animal husbandry in Luoyang is huge.The production of animal food is highly and variety.With the frequent outbreaks of animal food quality and safety issues,how to deal with and avoid animal food quality and safety issues,is being a national and even global question,also to the Luo yang City.This study relies to literature,investigation,collected and analyzed related of Luoyang animal food quality and safety data,analysis and summary of Luoyang animal food quality and safety management status and problems.Facing the overall situation of Luoyang City on the above problems,we give the appropriate countermeasures and suggestions to provide a theoretical basis for the establishment of a sound Luoyang animal food quality and safety supervision and management system,so that to lay a foundation for the healthy development of animal husbandry in Luoyang City.The main contents include: 1.Status animal food quality and safety management in LuoyangIn this study,we from five point including: current development of animal husbandry and meat,eggs Industries in Luoyang,animal disease prevention and control mechanism,animal food regulators and system construction,Luoyang animal food regulatory to introduce elaborated Luoyang food quality and safety management of the status quo.Through the actual survey visits and literature research method of combining,the survey of large livestock Yanshi City,Mengjin County,Xin'an County,Yichuan County,Ruyang County,Song County,Luoning County breeding base and meat products,eggs and dairy products quality and safety.It was found that the development of animal husbandry in Luoyang faster,meat and milk production across the board.By the end of 2009,pigs,laying hens,chickens,cows scale farming proportions were 57%,65%,86% and 93%;Luoyang animal product processing industry formed the leading with a base,the base even industrial management pattern of farmers,comprehensive benefit significantly.Wherein the dairy product processing volume reached 360,000 tons;pig slaughter amounted to 1.5 million;poultry slaughter and processing 40 million;cattle and sheep slaughter and processing 150,000,more than four industry chains have formed a complete production,processing sales chain.That Luoyang improving animal disease prevention and control mechanism,animal food regulatory system are inseparable,however,Luoyang City,animal husbandry still many problems: First,the total amount of small livestock,features are not prominent,large-scale farming of low specific gravity;Second,fine animal products processing industry is relatively backward,industrial management level is not high,the lack of national known and safety supervision system is not perfect,it is difficult to adapt to the requirements of the development of modern animal husbandry.2.Luoyang City Animal Food Quality and Safety ProblemsThis study has collected and analyzed the data from Luoyang City Bureau of Animal Husbandry,health and epidemic prevention station,Drug Administration and other related reports on Luoyang animal food safety issues,institutional issues from Luoyang animal food regulation exists,Luoyang animal food regulatory agencies and personnel issues,animal food quality and safety analysis of Luoyang City,animal food quality and safety problems of influence factors,animal drug residues in food,environment,consumer attitudes and so on.The results show that institutional problems of the Luoyang animal food regulation related to the lack of facilities and equipment,sound and effective legal protection and supporting safety monitoring standards;quality and safety factors mainly includes three aspects: biological hazards,chemical hazards and physical hazards;the main reasons for the drug residue issues: firstly,excessive medication,medication errors,medication irregular;the second,not strictly in accordance with the provisions of the withdrawal period;thirdly,the use of illegal drugs or other prohibited substances;ecological factors are mainly heavy metals and other veterinary drugs and animal food safety hazards;consumer attitudes problem is mainly due to more rural Luoyang,education and economic development is relatively backward,limited income,people still do not realize that animal food quality and safety importance.Therefore,in order to solve the Luoyang animal food quality and safety issues,we need institutional system,aspects of supervision,production and other sources on the quality of raw materials for effective management and testing.3.Luoyang animal food quality and safety suggestionsThrough the investigate and analyze of the Luoyang animal food quality and safety management status and problems,combined with the actual situation of the whole city of Luoyang,we give the appropriate countermeasures and suggestions from the following points to solve the above
