With the rapid development of the world economy, the demand for energy has increased unprecedentedly. Russia has the title of energy; the energy industry is not only the pillar industry of its development, but also an important lifeline of the country's economic development. Among many of the Russian energy industries, natural gas accounted for a very high proportion. In the Russian natural gas industry, Gazprom is the largest joint-stock company, both in scale and comprehensive strength it is very strong, is a global energy company, and as a member of the world energy market it is indispensable. Gazprom has not only made outstanding contributions to the development of its own country, but also has reached an energy cooperation relationship with many countries in the world. As the"aircraft carrier" in the industry, the development of Gazprom fields covers the distribution of natural gas exploration, mining, transportation, storage,sales,natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons, as well as the production of high-end products such as smelting terminal project.The company can face many risks. It is of great significance to analyze the financial risk management and strategic management for the healthy development of enterprises. Through the analysis of domestic and foreign literature, which combined with the relevant theory, this paper mainly makes a further analysis on the current situation of Gazprom in the field of risk management, from the perspective of Gazprom's risk management level.Finally, the paper combines the current development and the problems in risk management of Gazprom and puts forward the corresponding optimization measures and suggestions, from the aspects of risk assessment,management strategy, risk culture and risk management supervision.
