Innovation is one of the core competitiveness of enterprises.The intensity of competition environment,the variability of users’ demands and the popularity of national innovation make enterprises no longer stick to traditional innovation models which require the long cycle,high cost,they adopt a new model of product innovation named “Iterative innovation” instead.Iterative innovation achieve the low-cost and efficient innovation step by step in the constant interaction with users according to the user-centered and needs-oriented,and then bring about the disruptive innovation of products in a cycle of iterations.Thus,how to realize the of products has become an urgent problem for enterprises to maintain their differences and advantages.This article focuses on the internal and external elements of the enterprises,explores how to use the integration of internal and external elements to achieve the process and mechanism of product in Iterative innovation,and establish the model of process for the Iterative innovation of product.The main contents of this research including : firstly base on the study of grounded theory and through an in-depth and semi-structured interview conducted on 16 staff members of 5 domestic typical enterprises,the interview results and the relevant secondary data collected were coded and analyzed with the help of software Nvivo11.0 for qualitative analysis.through three levels of coding which includes open coding,main axis coding and selective coding,115 free nodes and 18 sub categories,6 main categories and 1 core categories are obtained—Iterative innovation.Then centering on the core category and combining with the original text,it analyzes and induces the logical relation of meanings and categories between the main and sub categories,the theoretical model of this study is constructed on this basis,and the mechanism for iterative innovation of product is revealed : Enterprises try to grasp the real needs of customers accurately,integrate internal and external resources and develop products rapidly to meet users’ demands.Afterwards,enterprises explore and learn to improve the function of the product through constant trial and error.Finally enterprises review and summarize the whole process to guide the next step of practice by Reorder method.At the end,this paper analyzes the mechanisms of iterative innovation for HUAWEI mobile phone products,verifies the accuracy and universality of the model,and puts forward the enlightenments of enterprise management for product development.
