2017 is the second year in China in 13 th Five-Year,the new economy into the new normal critical period, which marks the critical period of China's economy to adjust the depth of the structure. In this context, the national development and Reform Commission in conjunction with the Ministry of public security, the Ministry of finance, the Ministry of land and other 14 departments lasted for 3 years, the preparation of the national new urbanization plan(from 2014 to 2020)was introduced in March 16,2014."Planning" pointed out that modern urbanization is the only way which must be passed,is a powerful engine to maintain sustained and healthy economic development, expanding domestic demand and promote industrial upgrading an important starting point,is an important way to solve the problems of agriculture and rural farmers,is to promote balanced regional development of strong support. There is a natural link between the new urbanization and the consumption rate of residents.Urbanization is the process of population gathering to the city. The agglomeration effect can greatly promote the progress of urban productivity and improve the income and consumption level of residents. However, the mechanism of the impact of the new urbanization on the consumption rate of residents is relatively complex,so it is necessary to further analyze the mechanism of urbanization affecting residents' consumption rate and provide empirical results support.Western countries for the study of the city earlier, but focus on the city never China residents in the consumption rate, scholars have done a lot of research on the relationship between the urbanization rate and the household consumption rate, but there is little research by the form of the model to reveal the dynamic relationship between the two. This paper is in such a starting point, through the construction of a city and rural areas contains production model, the exchange of goods will link the two urban and rural sectors of the economy by the middle, analysis of consumer behavior, including family decision-making,government behavior, market equilibrium at all levels to get the growth equation, the rate of consumption of urban residents. The results of theoretical model showed that the rate of consumption growth rate will increase with the city urban and rural two departments of technological progress and capital investment of rural land and city level average capital increase, the increase in the growth rate of the rural sector technology, land capital investment growth rate increases, the growth rate of per capita capital city departments, reduce the population growth rate decreased monotonously increase.Furthermore,we use the panel data of 30 provinces in 2000-2014 to make an empirical analysis of the above models, and introduce the corresponding control variables in the empirical model to ensure the stability of the model. In order to get more robust results,we use six different population data and three different land resources input data, respectively, the model of a variety of multiple regression. The empirical regression results generally support the mathematical model of the city per capita capital growth of a unit, can reduce the rate of consumption of urban residents is 0.02 percentage points;the population growth rate per 1 unit increase in urban residents' consumption growth rate is correspondingly reduced by 0.62%,blindly population urbanization will not only promote consumption, but will inhibit the rate of consumption growth. We also divide the region to carry on the different empirical regression, and the result shows that there is a big difference in the urbanization process of each region. The structure of this paper is as follows: the first chapter is the definition of related concepts. There is no precise definition of the concept of urbanization.Different from the macro sense, this paper is to measure the rate of consumption from a micro perspective. The second chapter is literature review.Due to the lag of the domestic literature and foreign literature, the focus of the study is not the same. Therefore, this chapter will review the foreign literature and domestic literature. The third chapter is the theoretical analysis of the impact of the new urbanization on the consumption of urban residents. At present, some theories of the mainstream reveal the relationship between urbanization and economic growth, but there is no systematic theory to explain the relationship between urbanization and consumption. This chapter, from the perspective of endogenous growth theory, constructs a model of urban and rural two yuan economy, which aims to get the growth rate of consumption rate. The fourth chapter is the empirical analysis of the new urbanization and residents' consumption rate.Based on the mathematical model established in the last part, the static analysis of the coefficients of the variables in the model is carried out.The mathematical model is then converted into a structural regression model, and the results are verified by the results of the regression model. The fifth chapter is conclusion and suggestion.According to the results of the mathematical model and the empirical model, some suggestions are put forward.
