With the continuous development of social economy,people`s requirements of quality of life are increasing rapidly.As daily necessities,packaged mass consumption goods have become the consumption point of every family.In the fierce market competition,time has become the third measurable indicator of service level after price and quality.Using punctual distribution for the delivery of PMCG,can guarantee the timely processing of orders and deliver the goods to customers in time.Punctual distribution is a customer oriented service,it delivers the right quantity,right quality goods to customers in the right time,fulfill the requirements of the Packaged Mass Consumption Goods distribution.Based on the analysis of the present situation of Chinese enterprises` logistics,and combined with the collected data,this paper found out that most enterprises in China ignored the service level and customer satisfaction,mainly manifested in the uncertainty and unpunctuality of goods` delivery time.PMCG has shorter cycle time and faster flow speed than the other goods,so it has higher requirements for the punctuality of distribution.This paper firstly introduces the time factor to the concept of distribution,then optimize the warehouse operation management and distribution network through building the distribution model.Finally,this paper makes an empirical research to prove that punctual distribution can be implemented..
