With the continuous development and progress of China's economic and social,people have higher and higher requirement for the quality of the raw product..The characteristics of fresh food such as perishability and first-of-the-season make it of its inventory and transportation proposed more stringent requirements.As the most important product carriers in the whole supply chain,what are the suppliers and retailers pursuing is how to reduce the loss of fresh products so that they can further increase sales profits or reduce costs.In modern logistics system,suppliers and retailers should not be “fragmented” and only to consider how to maximize their own interests,but should reach a consensus,and as a whole to serve the society and to meet the consumers.The vendor managed inventory system(VMI)is contributed to the combination of supplier and retailer.The inventory routing problem(IRP)is the core problem in the process of implementing the VMI strategy.It is the key to IRP study about how to determine the number of each customer inventory,travel time and path of the vehicle in a planned period to meet certain constraint conditions and make the system total operating cost minimization or total revenue maximization.Firstly,this paper analyzes the selected topic background and research significance,and from two aspects of fresh food transportation and VMI to expound the domestic and foreign research status.Then,the definition and classification of fresh food,the problems and characteristics of fresh food transportation,the inventory and transportation related problems of VMI strategy and the main algorithm in this paper are described,which laid a good theoretical foundation for this paper.Then,according to the characteristics of the inventory and transportation of fresh food and considering the practical problems,the mathematical model of inventory and transportation about fresh food is established.According to the characteristics of fresh product transportation and considering the real problem,the paper establishes a supply chain system composed of supplier and retailers,Using the random demand of consumers as the starting point,the paper analyzes the costs of the supplier and retailers,and eventually makes random demand for processing and establishes a mathematical model.Finally,an example is given to verify the validity of the model and algorithm.
