A Study On The Influence Of The Industiral Structure Of Foreign Direct Investment In Jiangsu Province

Since the Economic Globalization and China's Reform and Opening-up,the development of foreign direct investment has increased rapidly in China.At the meantime,since the national 13th five-year plan introduced,industrial restructuring has become one of the important ways to enhance competitiveness in international market,and the pace of domestic industrial transformation has been accelerating.In November 2015,President Xi Jinping stressed that China should strengthen structural reform of the supply front,and the industrial structure reform is particularly important.At the same time,in the past two years,the industrial structure has a great change in Jiangsu,the output value of tertiary industry exceeded the secondary industry in 2015 for the first time.The industrial structure from“231 " change to "321".As a developed coastal province in eastern China,the amount of foreign direct investment of Jiangsu always in the forefront of the country,so Jiangsu is representative in the whole country.Under such circumstances,the effect and the mechanism of foreign direct investment on Jiangsu's industrial structure are still the focus of our concern problems.On the basis of theories of foreign direct investment,combined with the objective reality of Jiangsu province and based on the perspective of supply-side reform,this paper demonstrates the impact of foreign direct investment on the evolution of industrial structure in Jiangsu province.In the first part,this paper explains the background,research significance and research ideas of this paper.Then,in accordance with the theories of foreign direct investment and foreign direct investment on the industrial structure,this paper has sorted out the relevant literature,and discusses the determinants of industrial structure from three aspects:supply,demand and international trade.In addition,this part points out that capital supply and technology supply are two important way of foreign direct investment to affect industrial structure.In the middle of the paper,this paper analyzes the status quo of foreign direct investment and industrial institutions in Jiangsu province firstly.In the part of foreign direct investment,this paper reviews the development of foreign direct investment in Jiangsu Province,describes the source of foreign direct investment and distribution of foreign direct investment in Jiangsu Province and the distribution of foreign direct investment in Jiangsu Province.In the industrial structure part,it reviews the evolution of industrial structure and analyze the internal structure of three industries.After that,it is the empirical study on the influence of foreign direct investment on the industrial structure of Jiangsu Province.The Granger causality test is used to test the causal relationship between foreign direct investment and industrial structure in Jiangsu Province.And then according to the actual contribution of foreign investment to its industrial output value,constructing the multiple linear regression model to measure the influence of foreign investment on industrial structure evolution.At the end of the paper,on the basis of theoretical and empirical research,this paper gives the corresponding suggestions for how to use of foreign capital effectively and how to optimize industrial structure in Jiangsu province.
