Optimal inventory strategy is an important part of the inventory management of fire fighting equipment manufacturing enterprises.In the 21st century,with the growing competition in the manufacturing industry,the competition between enterprises is no longer among the enterprises,but among the supply chains.For the fast-changing,more and more personalized market,the competitive advantage for manufacturing enterprises is to make positive improvement in customer response time and customer response speed,efficient and positive optimal inventory model to meet different needs playing an important supporting role.However,inventory optimization has always been a major problem for manufacturing.The traditional optimal inventory model contributes to the procurement planning management of materials with a long lead time,but cannot adapt well to the production management of multi-varieties and small-batch products.Moreover,the traditional optimal inventory model can lead to increase in inventories,decrease in inventory service level and drop in capital utilization efficiency.Based on the circumstance,the material inventory management issues in fire fighting equipment manufacturing enterprises are set as the object of study.Then,we build an optimal inventory model,put forward the corresponding optimization strategy in the hope of providing effective suggestions for the logistics management program in the supply chain environment.In this paper,qualitative and quantitative analysis are combined to study the problem.First of all,this paper reviews literatures on single point inventory management,multi-level inventory management and application of supply chain in inventory management at home and abroad.Secondly,based on the research problem,the quantitative analysis models adopted by the research:ABC classification and EOQ model,are introduced in detail.Then,based on the research on the current situation of A fire fighting equipment manufacturing enterprises,this paper analyzes the actual inventory management situation of A company,and summarizes the characteristics,problems and influence factors of A company in inventory structure and inventory turnover.Thirdly,according to the storage and purchasing characteristics of different raw materials and the key principles of inventory optimization of fire fighting equipment manufacturing enterprises,the optimal inventory improvement program is put forward from four aspects:optimization method,purchasing strategy,purchasing cycle and transformation of information system.Finally,the paper puts forward the optimal inventory strategy and the concrete implementation measures of A company.And then the case analysis method is applied with the comprehensive use of ABC classification and EOQ model to conduct a quantitative research on the inventory management of A company,remaining the level of supply services and minimizing the numbers of purchasing to determine the optimal order quantity and reorder point.Combined with the actual situation of A company,it is verified that the optimal inventory strategy proposed is feasible and effective.The results show that the optimal inventory strategy improves the efficiency of inventory optimization of A fire fighting equipment manufacturing enterprises.
