The Research On Management Of Overseas Accounts Receivable In A Automobile Company

The proportion of credit transactions increased gradually in recent years of the automotive industry,while the management of overseas accounts receivable in domestic is not perfect.Because of the country's geographical and cultural barriers,the management of overseas accounts receivable is at greater risk and more difficult to receive the payment than domestic accounts receivable.In this paper,through the analysis of overseas accounts receivable historical data of A company and the same industry,the constituent of A company overseas accounts receivable business.We found that A company's overseas accounts receivable amount and aging increases year after year.Compared with the same industry company,the data of A company is worse.A company credit management is not good,the delivery process is not standardized,and the contracts don't set the undertaker of payment fee.These problems cause the accounts receivable amount is large,and unreasonable policy to confirm the loss of bad debts has led to a long age overseas accounts receivable.Combined with the relevant research of overseas accounts receivable management,this paper proposes specific improvement measures and safeguard measures of A company's overseas accounts receivable for the problems.Improving the calculation of the credit limit of overseas customers;clearing delivery process;improving the overseas sales contract;making assessment system and reducing the bad debts system;analysing how to use the risk transfer tools for A company;a clear division of business personnel and financial personnel responsibilities.All the measures are to shorten the overseas accounts receivable aging and reduce the amount of overseas accounts receivable of A company.Controling the risk of overseas accounts receivable and increasing the company's actual profit to make the data of the financial statements of the company is closer to the actual situation,more conducive to make the right decision.This paper also provides reference for other domestic automobile companies in overseas accounts receivable management,and it enriches the actual case analysis in the automotive industry on overseas accounts receivable management.
