Research On The Construction Project Of ERP Financial Management System In Electric Power Enterprise

Since the beginning of this century,with the third industrial revolution,information technology has been rapidly popularized and applied in various industries around the world.Through information technology,enterprises improve their operation and management level to enhance their competitiveness.To obtain maximum economic benefits,the enterprises,facing unprecedented challenges and opportunities,need to upgrade and reform in order to adapt to the competitive environment,thus to improve their overall comprehensive strength.ERP,which integrates today's advanced enterprise management theory and makes the available resources can be effectively deployed through the unity of cash flow,logistics and information flow,becomes a competitiveness weapon for enterprises.MK Power Company is a large state-owned enterprise.The lacking of systematic planning and inadequate investment in information construction process,lead to the implementation of the sub-system modules fragmented,and make the enterprise “information isolated islands”.The thesis discusses the progress of enterprises' information construction and reformation.Under the strategic requirements of MK Power Company's information technology,this thesis analyzes the present situation of the company's business and information construction from enterprise decision makers and practitioners' perspective through process optimization theory,proposes the demand of ERP Financial Management System,addresses MK Power Company's organizational structure,combines business processes,makes the ERP financial management system building objectives,proposes the implementation which should be followed in the process of information technology construction projects in financial management,as well as the issues that need attention and unique solutions to problems during the financial management information upgrade process.Specific contents of this thesis are as follows: firstly,it discusses the background information and significance of the research.Secondly,it introduces the theory of ERP and ERP financial management system,and researches the present situation of financial management and constructive thinking in MK Power Company.Besides,aiming at financial services process optimization,it provides guidance and assistance for the construction and implementation of ERP financial management system.Finally,from the aspects of technical architecture and implementation procedure,it provides operational recommendations and opinions for enterprise information construction,then explores better ways for enterprise's information construction and provides implementation plan,by which the ERP financial management system can be built quickly in the MK Power Company.This thesis proposes a generic model for information construction of large enterprises.The results may be helpful for the improvement of MK Electric Power Company's financial management and operational efficiency,and can provide a reference for the information construction in power enterprise and accelerate the integration and transformation of information technology,which has practical significance in project cost savings and innovation management patterns.
