The Impact Of Part-time Entrepreneurial Motivation On Entrepreneurship Behavior

Entrepreneurs who run venture start-ups parallel to wage employment engage in so-called part-time entrepreneurship.Since part-time entrepreneurs can obtain relatively substantial economic income from part-time entrepreneurship in less risky situations,seeking monetary welfare or a psychological sense of accomplishment and other non-monetary benefits,so part-time entrepreneurship is quietly rising.This paper studies the entrepreneurial motives,entrepreneurial behavior selection and experience accumulation of part-time entrepreneurs,in order to explore the entrepreneurial characteristics of part-time entrepreneurs to deepen the understanding of part-time entrepreneurship,improve the relevant entrepreneurial theory.Through face-to-face interviews with 16 part-time entrepreneurs,this paper uses the grounded theory to study the data after finishing interviews.We post the 16 interviews numbers encoded activity.In order to ensure the saturation of the theory,this article uses the Internet to collect the information about the part-time entrepreneur’s relevant interviews and makes use of these sources of network information to test the theoretical saturation.Finally,the paper analyzes the relationship between entrepreneurial motivation,experience accumulation and turnover behavior of part-time entrepreneurs.Based on the grounded theory,this paper divides the part-time entrepreneurial motivation into the motivation of wealth pursuit and the self actualization.On this basis to explore the part-time entrepreneur’s departure from the entrepreneurial behavior found: self-actualized part-time entrepreneurs are more likely to produce turnover of entrepreneurial behavior,wealth pursuit part-time entrepreneurs prefer to maintain part-time entrepreneurial status quo,will not easily produce turnover of entrepreneurial behavior.Part-time entrepreneurial experience can be divided into accumulation of work experience and accumulation of entrepreneurial experience.Experience accumulation has obvious influence on the two types of part-time entrepreneurial motivation and entrepreneurial behavior.There is a big difference between the impacts of different experience for part-time entrepreneurs.The pursuit of wealth pursuit part-time entrepreneurs by the work of the accumulated experience of the industry will maintain a longer part-time entrepreneurial state,is unlikely to produce turnover of entrepreneurial behavior,functional management experienced self-actualized part-time entrepreneurs may have a turnover of entrepreneurial behavior.In the process of entrepreneurship,whether it is the wealth pursuit part-time entrepreneurs or self-realization of part-time entrepreneurs,the accumulation of entrepreneurial experience more abundant the more likely to produce the entrepreneurial behavior.Finally,this paper from the practical point of view that the government should improve the social security system and improve the cognitive legitimacy of part-time entrepreneurship to promote the free flow of part-time entrepreneurs and improve their entrepreneurial enthusiasm.
