In today's competitive and growth-oriented society, entrepreneurship is regarded as one of the best strategies to improve national economic development and achieve sustainable competition, and the government encourages and strongly supports entrepreneurship. For individuals, successful entrepreneurs can increase their own income, gain more free time and realize their value. However, faced with risks and uncertainties of entrepreneurship, many individuals would take the form of part-time entrepreneurship. However, whether starting a business part-time or full-time,potential entrepreneurs are needed. In this, this study explores the entrepreneurial intention of working employees, which adopts the form of questionnaire survey to explore the influence of job security on part-time entrepreneurial intention and full-time entrepreneurial intention of employees. The study examined the influence of job security on part-time and full-time entrepreneurial intention, tested the moderating effect of core self-evaluation,and examined the mediating effect of organizational commitment and turnover intention. The data came from 411 workers in Xinjiang,Henan,Beijing,Jiangxi and Jiangsu.Three times of data collection were conducted. In Timel, individuals filled in work situation, job security, core self-evaluation,entrepreneurial efficacy scale and demographic information. In Time2,individuals filled out the scale of organizational commitment and turnover intention. In Time3,individuals filled out the part-time entrepreneurial intention and full-time entrepreneurial intention scale.Using analytical techniques as Mplus and SPSS,we established regression models(part-time entrepreneurial intention and full-time entrepreneurial intention as the dependent variable;gender, culture degree, working age, monthly income, entrepreneurial self-efficacy as control variables;job security as independent variable;organizational commitment and turnover intention as mediating variables),and systematically analyzed our collected data. Results are:(1)Employees' job security positive predict part-time entrepreneurial intention. And had negative predict full-time entrepreneurial intention.(2)Core self-evaluation moderates the relationship between job security and part-time entrepreneurial intention. When the core self-evaluation is low,the positive relationship is stronger.(3)Core self-evaluation moderates the relationship between job security and full-time entrepreneurial intention. When the core self-evaluation is high, the negative relationship is weaker.(4)Organizational commitment mediates the relationship of job security and part-time entrepreneurial intention. And organizational commitment mediate the relationship of job security and full-time entrepreneurial intention.(5)Turnover intention mediates the relationship of job security and full-time entrepreneurial intention.(6)Core self-evaluation moderates the indirect effect of organizational commitment between job security and part-time entrepreneurial intention. When core self-evaluation is high, the indirect effect of job security on part-time entrepreneurial intention is weak.(7)Core self-evaluation moderates the indirect effect of turnover intention between job security and full-time entrepreneurial intention. When core self-evaluation is high, the indirect effect of job security on full-time entrepreneurial intention is stronger. In the end,We discussed the implications of these findings for theory and practice.
