Study On The Contribution Of Port Cargo Category To Urban Economy In H Port

As the window opening to the outside world and the bridge connecting the world,the port has become a guarantee to promote the economic development of its city.The relationship between the port and regional economy becomes increasingly close,city development relies on port,port development relies on city economy.The survival and development of the port needs to rely on the city economy;at the same time,the contribution of the port industry has laid a solid foundation for the urban construction and economic development.As the various types of goods origin of the port,the value of goods,the size of the volume are quite different,there are significant differences about different cargo category in the role of promoting the development of the city economy.It is of great significance to estimate the contribution value of the different cargo category to the city.Besides,it is important for making policy about the development of port and the rational plan for the construction of port.At first,this paper describes the role of port development in its city economy and the impact on different cargo category to the urban economy.Using the input-output table which contains the basic data of the port industry to calculate the contribution value and contribution rate of port industry as a whole to the city economy.On this basis,using the throughput of different cargo category in each year to establish the calculation model.And using genetic algorithm to obtain the solution,which indicates the contribution value of the different cargo category to the city economy.The result shows that the operations of coal,oil,groceries,ore,container cargo in H Port obtain the income per 1 yuan will pull the city GDP2.30 yuan,1.49 yuan,3.71 yuan,5.50 yuan,10.81 yuan separately.Based on the data of throughput of different cargo category,it shows that the contribution rate of coal,oil,groceries,ore,and container cargo to urban economy in total contribution of the port is about 73.8%,1.4%,8.8%,4.2%and 11.8%respectively.Although the unit contribution value of coal is relatively low,the total contribution value of coal is the most prominent because of its large throughput;as the total contribution value of container goods is less,the unit contribution value of it shows more prominent.In summery,it can provide scientific basis for making the plan and the related policy on the development of the port.
