Any success of an enterprise cannot be separated from the relatively stable long-term development strategy and objectives.The development of the enterprise strategy and the goal,is the guide and direction of daily action of a company in future years.It is the fundamental starting and goal of enterprise performance management.An enterprise strategy and goal should be applied from the management level to daily work management,should be applied from the various functional departments to each employee.Strategic performance management is oriented by enterprise strategy,including enterprise strategic planning,implementation,feedback and results application.Although the sales goal of enterprise cannot represent the whole of enterprise strategy and target,it is still one of the important indexes to measure the enterprise development strategy and target.While the sales department,sales staff is the main performer and practitioner of the enterprise’s sales target,department and individual performance is directly related to the implementation of the enterprise’s sales target,only when products or services are sold,capital chain enterprises can be working on normal circulation,the company can survive.Therefore,the performance management of the sales department and the sales staff has become very important for an enterprise strategy and objectives.The author,taking company E as an example,with the center of sales staff performance management,combined with relevant theoretical knowledge of enterprise development strategy and performance management,analysis how an enterprises to adjust their development strategy and objectives,in order to keep growth with Chinese new normal macroeconomic background?How performance management departments to adjust the performance management plan and objectives,organize and implement performance appraisal,to support the company’s development strategy and objectives?How can performance feedback and performance results play an active role in improving corporate performance and achieving strategic objectives of an organization?It is clearly described how the current E company’s performance achievement system is running of sales department and sales staff,through talking with sales staff and department managers,sampling survey&questionnaire,and case analysis.Based on the analysis and research of historical it is disclosed the deficiencies of existing performance management system of E company and why it is so,also it is proved the reform of current performance management system of necessity and feasibility.At the same time,it is rebuilt of the performance management system and evaluation index of E company’s sales department sales staff,to achieve the company’s strategy and objectives.The conclusion,based on case analysis of E company and theory research,about the steps and methods of the performance management system designing can be applied to the same company as company E.It is also of reference value about the performance management system designing and index designing of E company for small size of foreign enterprises,especially for chemical enterprise performance evaluation system.
