The Research On Floating Population Employment And Income Effect Of Hunan Province

With the current China's migrant population growing,the problem is becoming more and more prominent,how to promote the smooth employment of the floating population and secure a stable wage income,which has become increasingly the focus of research,this paper,by using dynamic monitoring data of the floating population in hunan province in 2015-2016,tries to explore different floating population for employment choice in mechanism and corresponding income effect.With starting from individuals of the floating population,and based on prospect theory,try to build dual constraints(maximum income and household consumption constraints)mathematical model of floating population employment choice utility maximization,analyze in detail the choice of different positions of the floating population in different industries and different employment status which choose specific mechanism,Specific conclusions are as follows:first,for the employment of subjective risk and objective risk,the greater the flow of population to abandon technology/skilled workers career choice is the probability of other position is big,level of education and work experience also has a positive influence on the choice of the floating population employment,Subjective employment risk the most secure a stable job and more people willing to enter the monopoly industries with higher wages material benefits,objective employment risk does not affect the industry choice of the floating population,Subjective employment risk,Objective employment,risk level of education and work experience are have positive effects on the employment status of the floating population,which is more willing to give up their employees in order to choose big employers income elasticity and self-supporting laborers;second,we use quantile regression to investigate the earnings of the floating population decision,finding that relative to the other positions,the choice of unskilled workers and service personnel will reduce the wage income of the floating population,and the post/skilled technical workers will increase the salary of the floating population,the same on the lower and middle digits,choosing managers can reduce the salary of the floating population,only when the wage income of the floating population arrives a certain level,managers which improving their income can be choossed;choossing monopoly industries can increase the salary of the floating population,and its estimating parameters has increasing trend;Compared with other employment status,employer is very obvious,the function of revenue growth for high earners,choossing self-supporting laborers will reduce its income level;In addition,we use Oaxaca-Blinder decomposition,to choose a diff-erent employment income gap analysis,the truth finding from managers and non-technical staff salary income(log)part explain differences,which is caused by level of education,management and service personnel,compared to its income advantage due to the support of other family members And industry-choose wage difference,is largely caused by the discrimination from industry,thus which has proved the existence of the floating population fragmentation phenomenon of employers and employees,employers and self-supporting laborers' income differences mainly explained by level of education,showing high degree of floating population on the employers to get a bigger income returns.
