Research On The Relationship Between Entrepreneurial Social Capital And Science And Technology Start-ups

In recent years,China's economic development level continued to maintain a high growth rate,Small and Medium sized Enterprises(SMEs)are playing an increasingly important role.Under the policy of innovation and entrepreneurship,more and more start-up businesses initiate focusing on the innovation capability in order to seek a new growth point.The resource of SMEs is the concentrated reflection of the entrepreneurs' social capital.The essence of the innovation ability is the redistribution process of the resources in the entrepreneur social network structure.Normally,business performance is the most intuitive results.Based on the actual national conditions and the theoretical analysis,this article focuses on the intermediary role of innovation capability between entrepreneurs' social capital and start-up businesses performance.Previous scholars mainly focused on the research of entrepreneurs' social capital,but the determination of the third influence factor was not formed a unified opinion.For the division of entrepi eneurs' social capital,this article classifies the social capital into vertical and horizontal social capital according to the perspective of resource selection.For the performance measurement,conventional financial indicators and non-financial indicators are usually selected.At the same time,this article introduces the innovation ability as a variable into the model.Based on 186 questionnaires data processing,this article draws the conclusions as follows.The relationship between the entrepreneurs' social capital and enterprise performance is positive;Entrepreneurs' social capital and innovation capability are positive related;The relationship between the innovation capability of start-ups and enterprise performance is positive.The ability to innovate played a role of mediation in the entrepreneurs' social capital and enterprise performance.Based on the empirical analysis,the article provides some suggestions to entrepreneurs.Firstly,entrepreneurs' influence should be paid enough attention,which can make the innovative factors operate on the relationship network.Secondly,the strategic direction of start-ups should be transformed based on the characteristics of entrepreneurs' social capital.
