With the vigorous development of Internet finance and the rise of sharing economy,asset-heavy commercial banks are pounded strongly.Accompanied by increasing trend of financial disinter-mediation,to achieve the transformation and upgrading has become the common choice of commercial banks.Big data,cloud computing,artificial intelligence,Internet of things,block chain,biometric and other cutting-edge technologies mature,making smart banking is regarded as the mainstream direction of transition and upgrading.As one of the vanguard,A Bank has already constructed an online and offline service network through the expansion of electronic banking channels,self-built e-commerce website,smart bank outlets and self-help equipment increase.Nevertheless,due to the neglect of the core capabilities,which includes support capability of internal data,technical innovation capability,channel extension capability and fine management capability,of smart banking,there are some urgent problems to be solved in the development process.This thesis takes A Bank as the research object and introduces the basic situation,operating performance and construction motivation of A Bank.Then this thesis summarizes the characteristics of the traditional banking period and electronic banking period of A Bank in the past,and focuses on the introduction of A Bank's current construction situation of smart banking as following.Next,through data analysis and comparative analysis,A Bank's problems about core talents,data support,customer experience,channel expansion,risk control,organizational structure,feedback mechanism and other aspects are found.The management fineness and core competence are desperately needed to improve through the following seven measures.Firstly,multilevel and phased development plan has to be established.Secondly,A Bank should make human resources relevant preparations by conducting training,recruiting personnel of financial technology and setting salary incentive mechanism.Thirdly,A Bank should build data warehouse to enhance the abilities of data collection,processing and integration.Fourthly,A Bank will improve the customer approval,customer satisfaction and customer stickiness with various measures to improve customer experience.Fifthly,A Bank should expanding customer sources in the way of increasing co-operation and seeking extensive publicity.Sixthly,A Bank need to establish a sound risk control mechanism for preventing new risks and guaranteeing fund safety and information security.Seventhly,A Bank had better establish independent organization so as to improve development efficiency.Lastly,the feedback mechanism needs to be set up,timely adjusting the development process of smart banking.The research of this thesis hopes to have useful reference for domestic commercial banks to develop smart banking through the case study of A Bank.
