In recent years the study of the relationship between the social network based on the research for the performance of the company has opened up a new perspective,with the development and perfection of the system of board of directors,by the board of directors phenomenon between the member connecting chain form is becoming increasingly common in companies in China,thus forming the interlock network has become an important way of organization the boundary connection enterprise across,which contains the social capital can let the enterprise to obtain the required trust and reputation and other aspects of the role has been widely recognized,has become one of the important factors affecting the performance of the company.But in research methods and perspectives are one-sided and narrow,the current domestic research on interlock network is not thorough,whether interlocking directorates on technological innovation performance of enterprises and how to influence become the research focus in recent years.This paper uses the social network analysis theory,analysis of the effect of interlocking directorates on the company's ability to obtain social capital from two angles of view position orientation and relationship orientation,2010-2014 GEM listed companies based on the data,focuses on the mechanism of the three interlocking directorates affect the performance of the company.First,the weak links in the chain network board is how to influence the technological innovation performance of enterprises;second,whether can obtain the size of interlocking directorates and the effects of trust between companies,and what impact on technological innovation performance of enterprises;third,director of network center of chain of interlocking directorates and reputation has two-way role to influence the enterprise technology innovation performance.On the basis of theoretical analysis,this study uses regression analysis way,the relative between interlock connect and perform of the company to build a more accurate mathematical model,and conducted a series of empirical analysis,draw the several conclude First,the connect strength of chain directors has a strong influence on corporate performance;the chain directors can obtain more and more effective resources in other enterprises as executive directors,thus promoting the performance of enterprise technology innovation.Second,the network size of interlocking directors is positively related to technological innovation performance,and the appropriate expansion of the network size of chain directors is beneficial to improve the performance of technological innovation.Third,the centrality of interlocking directorates has a positive effect on corporate performance,enterprises in the chain board in the network closer to the center,more conducive to the enterprise to obtain the resources,has a positive impact on technological innovation performance of enterprises.At the same time,this paper also discusses the moderating effect of institutional environment on the network characteristics of interlocking directors and technological innovation performance of enterprises,and verifies the effectiveness of the system.The conclusions of this study can be of significance for enterprises to effectively use the chain of directors network to improve the level of technological innovation performance.
