In today's era of information society, information industry and our daily lives. The development of information industry, not only the entire community development and social information necessary elements, but also a national indicative target of economic development, so countries are sparing no effort in the information construction. In contrast, China's information industry started later than the developed countries, but the information industry's role in national economic development has been the government, and society. "The People's Republic of China Eleventh Five-Year National Economic and Social Development Plan" proposed "adhere to the information technology to stimulate industrialization, promotion of information technology to improve the level of economic and social information." The country's blueprint for development of information industry, Shanghai plays an important role. In recent years, Shanghai rely on sound information infrastructure.In this paper, vertical and horizontal comparison, examine the information industry in the last five years, its trends, and with other departments associated with changes in industry, research in the development of Shanghai's information industry problems, its future development path, and how do other industries associated with and, ultimately, how to pull the entire national economy growth.Input-output model is used to analyze the economic system in the relationship between the effects of the various industries to measure the various industrial sectors and the distribution of consumption between the interdependence of the effective tools in the world. Most countries are currently preparing the input-output table, as the government's economic policy-making reference. Major cities will be prepared every five years, competition-based input-output table for the reference to local government economic planning and analysis for researchers to provide evidence of economic problems. Based on value-based competition in Shanghai in 2002 and 2007 input-output table, through the Industrial Relations Effect of the combination of static and dynamic methods of analysis are: information industry and information services form a very strong sector development endogenous growth capacity.
