Hop New Product Development Project Risk Management Research

In recent years,the demand from automobile market continuously increased,the automobile makers and automobile components producers from China continuously join into the international manufacturing market.In the international competitive platform,there are more and more project development opportunities,also the project management risk increases accordingly.In the market,the one who can mange the project well will win the project and market.And the new product development project management is the key factor to realize the enterprise's strategic target,the success of one project management is decided by the project risk management capability.Under the serious competitive environment,as an engine's components oil pump and water pump maker Hunan Oil Pump Co.,Ltd(HOP),the new product development project risk management capability has become the main issue for the HOP staff,they have to find the way by hard work and study to improve the capability.This paper is based on the project risk management and risk management theory which includes risk identification,risk assessment and risk treatment.By combining the HOP's new product development procedure and special characteristics,it use the manufacturing flow method to identify the risks at each development stage,then it analyzes out the 4 types of high risk factors from the 7 types of risks by qualitative and quantitative combined method:Human Resource Management Risk,Technical Risk,Supplier Risk and Production Technology Risk.Based on the analysis result,it proposes the risk control strategies to help the project administrator to make the scientific and effective decision and realize the target to reduce the new product development risk.Based on the HOP's new product development project risk management research,it can provide the risk management reference for the company's new product development,also can control the risk management effectively during the whole company's new product development activities.And the successful rate for the new product development can be increased,the competitiveness in the market will be strengthened accordingly.Also it can be taken as the reference for the similar company's new product development.
