The process by which a country steps forward toward modernization is a process of evolving from a traditional agricultural country to a modern industrial country.It is also a process in which peasants are given the freedom to change their identities and move away from the field of agricultural production.In this process,the phenomenon that the agricultural population constantly transfers from the countryside to the cities and towns,that is,the non-agriculturalization process of peasants,that is,the peasants who left the land can achieve full non-agricultural employment transformation.With this At the same time,the share of agriculture in the national economy has been steadily shrinking and the share of industry expanding continuously.The employment transformation of peasants is the most spectacular and historic landmark in the transformation of modern society.As a whole,our country has entered the development stage of promoting agriculture by industry and taking urban development as an example,accelerating urbanization,transforming traditional agriculture,breaking the dual structure of urban and rural areas,and forming a new integrated pattern of urban and rural economic and social development.Agriculture The issue of rural peasants is a fundamental issue concerning the national economy and the people's livelihood.Employment is the basis of people's livelihood.Peasants only work out of the agricultural primary industry with low added value and diversified employment reliance on land is the solution to the "three rural issues" Top priority.Adhering to the priority development in agriculture and rural areas,establishing and improving the institutional and policy system for the integration of urban and rural areas and accelerating the modernization of agriculture and rural areas are an important part of our country's efforts to solve the problems concerning agriculture,rural areas and farmers.Studying the employment transformation of peasants in the process of urban-rural integration is of great significance for solving the "three rural issues",improving peasants' income and social status,maintaining social stability and promoting the integration of urban and rural areas.Based on the integration of urban and rural areas,based on an accurate understanding of the process of urban-rural integration,this paper explores the relationship between the employment of contemporary peasants and the integration of urban and rural areas and the factors restricting the employment of peasants in our country.The paper analyzes the current characteristics of China's peasants employment restructuring is the employment of large mobility,strong dependence on rural areas.Revealed that the difficulty of employment transformation lies in the long-term imbalances in urban and rural development and structural problems such as employment restructuring.The emergence of these problems lies in the single structure of the agricultural internal structure,the insufficient supply of employment opportunities for the township enterprises,the single employment channels,the low level of employment and the serious lack of social security.Based on the actuality of the integration of urban and rural areas at the present stage,the thesis puts forward the current choice of path to promote the employment of peasants and the policy measures to be taken.
