Study On The Development Of Fresh Agriculture Products Cold Chain Logistics In Guangdong Province

The natural properties of fresh agricultural products are perishable.However,the development of Chinese cold chain logistics begins late.Such as the Guangdong Province,which is rich in agricultural resources.But the unperfected related policies,the high transportation decay rate of fresh agricultural products are hindering the development of agriculture products cold chain logistics.If we can accurate evaluate the efficiency and judge the inputs of agricultural products cold chain logistics and outputs are reasonable or not,which can provide ideas for cutting wasting and rational planning of cold chain logistics of fresh agricultural products in Guangdong Province.Based on these situations,this paper defines the concept of fresh agricultural products and lay the theoretical foundation with collecting the technical efficiency theory and the produces frontier theory.Then,the present situation of the fresh agricultural products and the cold chain logistics in Guangdong Province are analyzed.The existing problems are summarized by using the three-stage DEA model which defined five input indexes,three output indexes and two environmental factors.Finally,DEA solver 9.0 and Frontier4.1 software were used to evaluate the efficiency of the cold chain logistics of fresh agricultural products in 22 cities(include Shunde district)in Guangdong Province from 2012 to 2015.Through calculating the efficiency of cold chain logistics of fresh agricultural products in Guangdong Province in four years,it is found that the technical efficiency of cold chain logistics of fresh agricultural products in Guangdong Province is increasing year by year from 2012 to 2015.However,the overall efficiency is not high.Only individual regions,such as Guangzhou,Shenzhen,Zhanjiang,their technical efficiencies are 1 and achieve effective technical efficiency.The investment resources have been rational and efficient used.There are many areas which technical efficiencies are less than 1,ineffective technical efficiency.At the end of this paper,it puts forward some suggestions on thedevelopment of cold chain logistics of fresh agricultural products in Guangdong Province from improving the level of personnel training,standardization and informatization of agricultural cold chain logistics,and perfecting the infrastructure construction.
