China's Free Trade Zone:Development,Charaters,Effects And Policies

Facing the severe international economic situation and heavy pressure,on September 30th,2013,the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone was established,marking a new round of China's opening up and internal reform.Then in 2015 and 2017,the second round of Free Trade Zone(Fujian,Guangdong,Tianjin)and the third round of Free Trade Zone(Liaoning,Zhejiang,Henan,Hubei,Chongqing,Sichuan,Shaanxi)were established respectively,which means the initial formation of the strategic layout----"the first development of China's southeast,followed by the northwest to keep up with".The development of China's Free Trade Zone last less than four years,and it is in the stage of international advanced experience learning and domestic trials,so all aspects of data and information are not yet complete,and did not form a mature research of location selection,economic effects and replication.In this case,promoting a series of research and trying to explore these aspects of the study is the purpose of this study.The author first tries to analyze the location choice and layout of China's Free Trade Zone by comparing the location advantages and positioning of the Free Trade Zones which has been established in the first three rounds,and provide experience for the future position choice of Free Trade Zone and its layout.The research on the location advantage mainly includes three aspects:geographical traffic conditions,industrial base characteristics and market.Based on the classification of Free Trade Zone,including the ones with ports,with aviation centers and with land transport centers,this paper tries to analyse the location strategy and development characteristics of China's Free Trade Zone.Then through the empirical analysis which base on the data of Shanghai Pudong New Area,this research tries to study the possible economic effects of Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone.Finally,based on the previous results,the author gives analysis and advices for the replication and promotion of China's Free Trade Zone.Free Trade Zone strategy is an important strategy for China's new round of foreign development and reform,which is of great significance to its location analysis and effect analysis.Because the research data is not complete and the time of its development is not long enough,this paper needs to be further improved,and the research content and depth can be further expanded.
