Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Talent Cultivation Of Logistics Management Major In Qinhuangdao Vocational And Technical College

With the continuous development of economic globalization,logistics industry has played an important and essential role in the national economic and social development.Currently,China has listed logistics as an important emerging industry.Since the introduction of the concept of logistics in 1980 s,logistics has been developing quickly in China.Meanwhile,comparing with that in developed countries,logistics in China is low in efficiency with more waste and less management.The lack of high quality logistics management talents is an important reason.Logistics Management Major of vocational college is the basis to train logistics management talents of high quality.In recent years,Chinese Central Government has put more and more emphasis on vocational education,taking it as a strategic point.Thus,logistics education of vocational college developed quickly.However,due to the late starting and lack of connotation construction,many problems of talents training were brought up,the most obvious one among which is that students with vocational graduate diplomas and various professional certificates cannot match logistics enterprises,who still need large amount of logistics talents.Therefore,how to solve the contradiction between logistics enterprises and talents,thus training high quality logistics management talents and promoting logistics industry towards a healthy and ordered way of development has become a mission for vocational colleges.This paper,based on the talents training mode of Logistics Management Major in Qinhuangdao Institute of Technology and combined with the status quo of regional logistics industry development,thorouly analyzed the talents training mode of “Government,industry,enterprise and school together;courses,training,cetificate and competition forever”,which was designed during the construction of Qinhuangdao Institute of Technology as National Model Vocational College.At last,some problems have been put forwardin key elements of talents training mode and some measures have been taken to furthur improve the talents training mode with an expectation that through this research,high quality logistics management talents training can be improved to meet the needs of logistics enterprises.
