Research On Financial Support For Chinese Companies' Foreign Direct Investment

Facing with the major problems of economic development in current China,from the perspective of the financial support,guided by realistic problems and with the purpose of the healthy development of OFDI,the financial support for OFDI will be summarized and researched in this paper.OFDI is an important driving force for the development of global trade,technology and labor division,whose importance is increasing as the world economy continues being weak from 2008 and the development of Chinese economy has entered the new normal.In the view of current situation of OFDI in China and the world,we can find that a certain degree of upside down has appeared:on one hand,the depressed OFDI in the world can’t go back to the situation before the financial crisis;on the other hand,as China’ s OFDI has changed the past situation of development,China has become a capital-exporting country from a capital-importing country and developed into a country power in OFDI rather than FDI attracting.But it’s important to note that financial support for OFDI is relatively defective,which is a key area in deepening reform in present time.Therefore,in this paper,China’s financial support for OFDI will be studied based on the practical situation of China by combining the practical situation and the successful experience in the world.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the background and significance of the topic,briefly summarizes the research status in this field and puts forward the research framework,methods,innovation and shortcomings.The second part is concept and theoretical analysis.On the basis of defining the concept of financial support for OFDI,this part combs relevant theories.The third part is the induction of the present situation and the analysis of problems.Firstly,the present situation of China’s OFDI is summarized,which mainly divided into the investment subject,the industry structure,the regional distribution and the investment way mode.Then the existing problems are put forward in the policies,regulations and management system,financing problem and risk prevention of China’s OFDI.After that,the present situation of financial support for OFDI is summarized on the system environment,commercial financial support,political financial support and developmental financial support.Therefore,this paper puts forward and discusses the defects of the financial support of China’s OFDI,which are present mainly as follows:on the one hand,the institutional environment and regulatory level need to be improved;on the other hand,financial support institutions have some shortcomings.The fourth part is about international experience.In this part,the mature experience in financial support for OFDI of United States,Japan and South Korea is introduced,and the specific path of financial support for OFDI,risk guarantees and other integrated services provided by the enterprises of the three countries through their own government laws and policy system and the relevant financial institutions is summed.The fifth part is about countermeasures and suggestions.A serious of principles and objectives,countermeasures and suggestions are presented subject to the further development of China’s financial support for OFDI based on the above analysis and combined with China’s practical situation.The countermeasures and suggestions mainly include two aspects:government and enterprise.From the government perspective,it includes improving the legal system of financial support for OFDI,perfecting the coordinating mechanism of the policies,and promoting the efficiency of management system;from the enterprise perspective,it includes strengthening personnel teaining and promoting management ability,extending financial market and innovating financial services,expanding overseas investment insurance system and establishing a new cooperation mechanism of"policy,credit,bank,enterprises".
