People's livelihood expenditure mainly includes three parts: expenditure on education, expenditure on health care and social security and employment. It directly affects the livelihood of residents and is an important part of public expenditure. In recent years, the government has begun to change its concept of governance and has gradually shifted its focus from economic construction to the construction of a harmonious society. The development achievements of the people's livelihood are obvious to all.At the same time, the issue of uneven distribution of resources for livelihood spending between regions has also emerged. This not only widens the gap between economic development in various places but also affects people's level of happiness.Based on the existing literature,we mainly study the positive and negative effects of the expenditure of people's livelihood or the expenditure of people's livelihood on the subjective well-being of residents.Few scholars have considered the impact of regional differences in people's livelihood expenditure and subjective well-being of residents. Therefore, this paper not only studies the relationship between people's livelihood expenditure and subjective well-being of residents. At the same time,we have added the variable of the regional disparity of the people's livelihood expenditure, and more comprehensively investigated the path of the people's livelihood expenditure affecting the subjective well-being of the residents.First of all, this paper analyzes the concepts of people's livelihood expenditure and subjective well-being,including the caliber of people's livelihood expenditure and the measurement of happiness. The subjective well-being level of residents was analyzed from the temporal dimension and the three regional dimension.By establishing an ordered probability model, the relationship between the expenditure of people's livelihood and its sub expenditure and the subjective well-being of residents is investigated. Then introducing the Theil index of the people's livelihood expenditure,we find the differences people's livelihood expenditure in reality, and the people's livelihood expenditure relationship exists for regional differences. Finally,in order to find the relationship between the regional differences of people's livelihood expenditure and the sense of happiness of the residents, the empirical method is used to analyze the total amount, the grouping and the decomposition sampleFindings: the people's livelihood expenditure and residents subjective well-being positively correlated, livelihood expenditure Theil index and the subjective well-being of citizens positively correlated;grouping regression analysis found that sample of low-income groups, the central and western regions and the well-being of rural residents is more sensitive to the variation of the difference of spending the people's livelihood areas;decomposition of sample analysis found the Theil index of education expenditure, increase spending on social security and health expenditure Theil index,Theil index can improve the subjective well-being of residents.Residents are most sensitive to changes in the difference of education expenditure area, followed by the changes of health expenditure and social security expenditure area, regional differences Changes to the influence of people's subjective well-being is minimum. Finally, through summing up the conclusion summarizes the innovations and research, for the government to reduce the difference of spending the people's livelihood areas, and puts forward relevant policy suggestions to optimize the livelihood expenditure structure and enhance the residents' level of happiness.
