With the continuous development of globalization, transnational production trend of commodity is obvious, international vertical division of goods covers a large number of foreign value-added in imported intermediate goods, total trade can not accurately reflect the home-added value in exports. Therefore, using the trade value added to measure the added value in a large number of export value of a country has a particularly important theoretical and practical significance,it reflects the real gains in the exports and the position in the global commodity market of a country,to a certain extent.China is a powerful manufacturing country, while with the obvious "big but not strong" characteristics, especially in China's low-tech manufacturing. It is a typical labor-intensive industries, occupying a large proportion of China's manufacturing industry. It is not only an important source of economic growth in China, but also an important guarantee to promote national employment. At present,China has become one of the major producers in the word of the low-tech products. However, due to lack of core technology, most of our low-tech manufacturing industries have been locked in assembly, processing and other low value-added stages in the global value chain, which in a very passive position. Therefore,it is high time to improve the the proportion of technology of low-tech manufacturing industries,to optimize and upgrade the industrial structure so as to further improve its home-added value in exports and enhance international competitiveness. In the context of knowledge economy, intellectual capital has replaced the traditional material capital(such as labor, capital and the others)to become the extremely important capital in industry development. To enhance the technical content of China's low-tech manufacturing industry,it does not mean simply increase the R&D investment,it also need to expand all kinds of investments like the human capital, the introduction capital of foreign advanced technology capital, advanced technology digestion and absorption capital and so on.Therefore, the investment of technological capital has been extended to be a wider range which called intellectual capital investment. In order to find out the impact of various intellectual capital on the development of China's low-tech manufacturing industries, this paper, based on a lot of domestic and foreign literature, selected the home-added value of the exports as a measure of the development of industries, and studied the impacts of intellectual capital on the home-added value in exports. This paper used a research method which combining statistical and comparative research, theoretical and empirical research. The general idea of this study is as follows:The first chapter introduced the research background and significance, literature review, research method, frame structure and the possible innovation and deficiency. The second chapter combed the theoretical basis of this study, including the trade value-added,intellectual capital, global value chain and technology gap theory. The third chapter identified the classification of the low-tech industries firstly, and then analyzed the development and the existing problems of low-tech manufacturing industries by accounting for the home-added value in exports. The fourth chapter was theoretical analysis, combined with domestic and foreign theories and research results, respectively,to explore the impacts of the human capital, technology development capital, technological transformation capital, introduction capital of foreign technology, digestion and absorption capital of technology on the home-added value in exports; The fifth chapter was the empirical test, based on the analysis of the fourth chapter of the mechanism, the part regarded the intellectual capitals as dependent variables, regarded the home-added value in exports as the independent variable, through the establishment of panel model, this chapter studied the impacts of intellectual capital on the home-added value in exports of China's low-tech manufacturing industries; The sixth chapter was the conclusion and suggestions,it summarized the contents and conclusions of the foregoing, and put forward relevant policies. The innovations of this paper are mainly that:1.the innovation of research object. It selected low-tech manufacturing industries as the research object;2.the innovation of research perspective. Its research perspective is intellectual capital.By this paper,we found that the impacts of different types of intellectual capitals on the home-added value in exports are different,so we should put out different suggestions respectively.
