Recently,staff of Chinese millennial generation,born in 1980s and 1990s,has gradually become the main force of the workplace.They are grown up in the new era of the generation,and they have distinctive personality characteristics,such as a strong sense of innovation,eager to get short-term returns,lack of patience and so on.And these characteristics will make them have unique work values,so it is worth studying the new generation of employees' work values on the impact of the organization.And job engagement has always been the focus of academia and practice,so how to improve job engagement is an important issue.Work values,as an important trait,will have impact on the job engagement.A large number of studies have shown that work values will affect on job engagement.But most of the researchs are not involved in staffs of millennial generation in the Chinese national conditions.In addition,the theory states that situational factors affect the relationship between traits and outcomes.And comprehensive model states that the interaction between traits and contexts can affect job engagement Job Control is an important context variable,previous scholars have linked it to job burnout.Then job control,as a moderator,is also worthy of our in-depth study about the impact of the relationship between work values of employees of millennial generation and job engagement.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influence of the work values of employees of millennial generation on the job engagement,which not only can enrich the relevant theories of job engagement,but also play a guiding role in the management of Chinese millennial generation.This paper begins with the literature review.On the basis of reviewing the previous research results,this paper constructs the theoretical model of work values of Chinese millennial generation and job engagement,takes the job control as morderator,and then collects 251 valid questionnaires,through the questionnaire research method.And the paper makes empirical analysis,analysising the relationship between Work values of Chinese millennial generation and the three dimensions of the job engagement,and analysising the moderating role of the job control.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,the paper mainly introduces the research background,the 'research significance,the research method and the innovation point,and explains the research process of this article.The second part is the literature review,the paper mainly introduces the concept,structure and measurement and related research situation of the work values,job engagement,job control.The third part is the theoretical model and the hypothesis of research,the paper puts forward the theoretical model of this article and carried out research hypothesis by reviewing the domestic and foreign scholars' research results.The fourth part is the research design,the paper selects the suitable measurement scale and collect the questionnaire.The fifth part is the empirical analysis.Firstly,the descriptive statistical analysis of the collected data is carried out,and the reliability and validity analysis are carried out.Then,the correlation and regression analysis are carried out to get the empirical analysis results.The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect of the research.Based on the above research,this paper summarizes the research conclusion of this paper,discusses it,reveals its internal logic,and introduces the practical value of this study,and points out the shortcomings of this study and the future research.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:Firstly,work values of Chinese millennial generation has a significant positive effect on job engagement:work values of Chinese millennial generation has a significant positive effect on vigor,work values of Chinese millennial generation has a significant positive effect on dedication and work values of Chinese millennial generation has a significant positive effect on absorption.And the paper draws different conclusions.Secondly,job control has a significant positive morderating effect on the relationship between work values and job engagement:job control has a significant positive morderating effect on the relationship between work values and vigor,job control has no significant positive morderating effect on the relationship between work values and dedication and job control has a significant positive morderating effect on the relationship between work values and absorption.The innovation of this paper are as follows:(1)This paper studies the impact of work values of Chinese millennial generation,based on the Chinese millennial generation under the Chinese context,although the previous researchs are based on Western theory.This paper studys on work values of Chinese millennial generation,based on the the study of localization.(2)The job engagement is influenced by the personal characteristics,the working situation and the interaction between the two.This paper studies the relationship between the work values and the job engagement and the morderating role of job control,although the previous scholars have not carried out this study.So this article has improved the existing research.Therefore,this study provides a theoretical and empirical basis for the localization research of work values of Chinese millennial generation,and provides a new contextual impact on the relationship between two.It has played an important role in the future discussion of the relationship and played a guiding role in the management practice.
