Since the reform and opening up, the economic construction is the core of China’s socialist modernization construction. So it is crucial for economic development to improve the performance of the organization. Since the new generation of migrant workers have been the subject of modern industrial workers and the work values is a issue with great research value for psychology, this study select the new generation of migrant workers as the research object, focusing on work values and delving into the influence mechanism for new generation of migrant workers’ work values to job performance.This study has carried on the literature review for the related research at home and abroad, on the basis of the literature review, we construct the theoretical model of this study and put forward the research hypothesis. Reference to foreign mature scale and combined with the characteristics of new generation of migrant workers compiled the questionnaire, making an exploratory factor analysis for the preliminary research data and revising the unreasonable place of this questionnaire. This study make a confirmatory factor analysis for the formal investigation data, furthered verified the rationality of the variable structure. Each of the hypotheses has been verified through related analysis and multiple regression analysis.Through this analysis we have these conclusions:The worker values have a great impact on job performance and career motivation for new generation of migrant workers; the career motivation have a significant impact on job performance for new generation of migrant workers:the career motivation play an intermediary role between the relationship of work values and job performance for new generation of migrant workers; work values have a significant impact on engagement of new generation of migrant workers; engagement have a significant impact on job performance of new generation of migrant workers; engagement play an intermediary role between the relationship of work values and job performance for new generation of migrant workers; the career motivation of new generation of migrant workers have a significant impact on their engagement.On the basis of research conclusion, some suggestions of improving job performance of the new generation of migrant workers have been put forward from the point of the manager’s view. This study furthered discusses the deficiency and future job performance issues related to the possible research direction at the same time.
