Since China joined the World Trade Organization in 2001,oversea foreign direct investment has played a more and more important role in the development of our country's economy.The role of FDI in stimulating economic growth and optimizing the structure of trade is becoming increasingly prominent.Because of the proposal of "The Belt and Road"in 2013,our government has been promoting the building of the Belt and Road actively,enhancing the economic and trade cooperation and exchanges with countries along the Belt and Road.According to statistics,in the past ten years,China's direct investment in the countries along the Belt and Road has increased rapidly,the growth rate is faster than the rate of China's Oversea foreign direct investment.The development of China's oversea foreign direct investment in the countries along the Belt and Road makes the research of direct investment in this region becoming more urgent.So this paper discuss the the trade effect of China's OFDI on countries along the Belt and Road.First,this paper focuses on the analysis of China's investment and trade in the countries along the Belt and Road.The scale of investment and trade between China and the countries has increased steadily in more than ten years,but there are also some problems such as uneven regional distribution and concentration of commodity structure.Then make an empirical analysis of the annual data based on the panel data of China and 44 countries along the Belt and Road from 2007 to 2016.Finally,through the research results,this paper puts forward the recommendations from the two angles of the country and the enterprise,the state should strengthen policy support,improve infrastructure and adapt to local conditions,enterprises should internationalize their thinking and improve their ability to cope with risks.
